What a gem. This is a great hide away that's not far from Adelaide. Enjoy the serenity of the river in this water front property. Our family (with a 4 and 1 year old) loved it for a few nights.

The host was very easy to communicate with and very friendly. The house was so clean. Nice view of the river from the house, close to shops and approximately less than 50m from the riverside. The firepit was so fun too 🔥. Check in and check out was so easy too.

We stayed here as a job we were doing was close by, was very impressed with the views, constant ever changing bird life, house was spacious and had everything one could need. Steve was very easy to get along with and thorough in explaining the property. Just bring your food and drinks and enjoy.

Cracking location, so much fun to be had!!!

Wow, what a great stay we had! The location is idealic and so much to do there was zero need to screens! Our list of activities with a 5, 10 and 16 year old.... kayaking, fishing, table tennis, marshmallows on the fire, star gazing, cricket, hits with the golf clubs down the hill, footy kicks, bbq, clay modelling and painting (for some down time), visiting the local pubs and the absolute favourite with the kids... rolling down the hillside!! Property has absolutely everything you need, was clean, super tidy and very comfortable and warm. Probably built somewhere in the late 70s the shack has some of the old and some new with extra space added along the way. Steve is a lovely human being who went out of his way to help us (literary...he dropped us back odd socks and a jumper that the kids left behind)!!! Communication was awesome. Thanks Steve, we will definitely be back!!

Riverfront bliss

We had a lovely extended weekend stay. Couldn’t have been nicer. The house was spacious and well appointed. There was nothing it didn’t have. All you need to bring is food and clothes! We will definitely bring the whole family next time. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The binoculars were fun to use as there was a big nest with baby birds in the nearby tree. Great location, not to far away for a quick trip into town. Thanks Steve, we will be recommending your place to our friends.

A very serene setting

We wanted a place to stay where we could be away from home for a few days in a gorgeous serene setting, and we found it here! The property is immaculately clean and tidy and very comfortable with views to die for. There is not much you could want for here - the house is very well equipped and all you need to bring is yourself and your food. Awesome. We really enjoyed just watching nature and the comings and goings on the river. We loved watching the cows move from paddock to paddock on the farms on the other side of the river. If you wanted more excitement, you need only bring your boat / canoe / kayak etc. to have a more active stay here. Thanks so much for a lovely stay.
