Warm and toasty winter weekend!

What a great girls’ midwinter getaway for 10 old friends, and would have had room for more! We had everything we needed and were toasty warm. The beds and bedding were very comfortable, great kitchen, and nice large table that easily seated all of us. All of us were easily connected with Wi-Fi. We had parking for several vehicles. Absolutely nothing we could complain about. We all agreed we’ll definitely be going back next winter and hope we can be lucky enough to get a booking sometime in the summer. We would give it more than 5 stars if we could!

Higgins Lk Vacation rental

Very inviting and comfy feeling, felt like home. Very clean. Very spacious. The beds were so comfortable. Great amenities , everything you need. The deck with the beautiful furniture, very nice for just visiting and relaxing. The beach with dock and hoist for our jet skies a plus. We had a rental pontoon and had the kayaks. Great 2 weeks. Would rent again. Beautiful place.

Great space to gather and retreat.

I’m not sure what our favorite part of our stay at Sandy Bottoms was but kudos to the kitchen ; easy to work around and loved the stove & oven. Plenty of cooking-dishes-and we absolutely loved the coffee maker. We loved our fluffy towels and the home had a resort feel. Early May is risky time of year we knew going into our stay but needed that date for a graduation celebration and had a beautiful gift awaiting us for this very event VERY thoughtful. We hosted my mom age 84 and she got around the house very well along with adult kids and friends which equaled 6 other young adults and our other daughter & her husband & baby we’re nearby and day visited. I loved how we could squeeze at one very large table. The deck space was neat and the weather cleared up so we did get a day or two on the deck. Only issue outside was the enormous amount of bugs! But we had a great time and made memories and managed a ride or two in the canoes. Thank you for such a great place. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was the bedding on master bed didn’t match the house seemed it was missing a mattress pad &sheet didn’t stay fited but we are bedding snobs and a bit picky on fabrics. Overall we felt very blessed and grateful for our stay there.

Ice fishing.

The place was perfect for our group of guys to try fishing. There was even access for a 4 wheeler to get on the lake.

One of Higgins Lake Best!

What a wonderful stay at “Sandy Bottoms!” If you’re looking for top notch convenience, comfort, and fun then this is your place!! Fall fun was certainly had here! From the gorgeous Michigan fall colors over looking Higgins Lake, to the fire pit fun; the cozy indoor fireplace to the gorgeous great room with the fabulous views! Sandy Bottoms is everything we wanted and more! We will certainly be back for another wonderful stay!!
