About this property

Ultimate cottage get away for all seasons with easy access on a plowed municipal road. The main cottage features 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, a large family and dining room with large windows overlooking beautiful Twelve Mile Lake, kitchen and laundry facilities. Play on our awesome shallow entry sandy beach perfect for young kids. Use the dock for your boat (Marina is only minutes away) and explore this desirable 3 lake chain. Great lake for fishing in the summer or ice-fishing in the winter. Snowmobile right from the property.

Enjoy the expansive wrap-around deck with multiple sitting areas - dine or chill and just enjoy the view of the lake. The generous green space around the house is perfect for badminton, or simple enjoyment. Cosy up by the fireplace and watch a movie on the large flat screen Roku tv.
Water toys include: 2 stand up paddle boards, a kayak, 3 inner tubes and a large "waterlilly". There is an assortment of lifejackets here for your use.
Mattress covers, sheets, duvet/duvet covers and pillows/pillow cases are provided. As well as face towels, T towels and bathmats. Please bring your own bath / beach towels.

In the winter you can skate on the lake, or zip across on your sled to join up with the OFSC trails. Twin Lakes X-Country ski trails are just down the road. Downhill ski at Sir Sam's, a short 15 minute drive.

Conveniently located close to town of Minden, where you will find restaurants, local brew pubs, LCBO, supermarkets, quaint main street, and the local hospital is only minutes away.

There is ample parking for several vehicles and plenty of space for toy haulers.Great lake for fishing in the summer or ice-fishing in the winter. Very close to trails, Sir Sam's ski resort, golf courses and many local attractions.

Rustic and well designed cottage.

Pros: - Very spacious for large groups. - Beautiful lakeview and easy access - A group of 7 seniors had a great time bonding, sharing and reminicing about old times. - All our needs were met! Cons: - Main bathroom on top floor for 5 people not properly cleaned. - Rustic kitchen has mediocre appliances - very small microwave) and minimal supplies. - Accessability to the top floor for seniors with mobility issues proved to be difficult. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return again!

Our family get together!

Overall, a wonderful cottage retreat! Location great, cottage spacious, well-equipped, and comfortable. Grandkids had a blast with the lily pad and paddle boat. Adults enjoyed the paddle board.
