Great Time!

The property was perfect for me and my sons. Exactly what we needed. Very clean. Condo was perfectly stocked. Loved the shuttle to the mountain.

Mediocre

I have been renting properties at Killington for more that 20 years. I know the mountain and properties well. I chose Mountain Green as I remembered that the units had a wood burning fireplace, a great gym, huge pool and sauna. After I confirmed my rental I received a communication stating that the pool and sauna were off line due to a parts back order. We arrived at the property on night one and there was a very peculiar smell in the elevator lobby. Fish??? It was pungent. A sign on one if the two elevators stated “out of service “. We made our way to the condo and upon entering there was a sign on the fireplace… “per fire Marshal the fireplace is out of order”. The condo was more or less as advertised. Definitely clean and well provisioned. But the little things that I was looking for were all not available. Had I had known prior to renting I would have picked a different property. My frustration is paying “holiday” week prices for a property that is clearly suffering a moderate amount of deferred maintenance to say the least. I found myself making excuses to my family for the pool, smell, lack of elevator access etc. We will not return to Mountain Green.

Thanks for staying with us, Brian, and we're glad that you loved the location! It sounds like you booked based on past experiences and didn't fully read our listing details which clearly note which amenities are open and which are closed. The health club is currently under renovations and we're hoping that opens soon! The fireplaces are not operational. We do no list these items as amenities and note them in multiple places to make sure there is no confusion. Once the building completes the updates, we hope you'll come back! Thanks again.

Cozy condo in a great location

Wonderful cozy condo at the base of Killington. Loved the free firewood and the convenience of the restaurant in the building!
