Excellent but let down by bedding. Stains on quilts, poor pillows.

Thank you for your feedback, and we're truly sorry to hear that the bedding did not meet your expectations.
We sincerely apologise for the stained quilts and the condition of the pillows — this is not the standard we aim to provide. We’ve addressed this with our housekeeping team and will be ensuring that all linen placed on the beds is thoroughly inspected moving forward.
Your comments have been taken seriously, and we’ll make sure this doesn’t happen again.
Thank you again for bringing it to our attention, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again.

Liked: Cleanliness, communication, location
Not the place to stay in winter.
Very cold as there is no heating.no additional blankets.the fridge freezer smells of fish and the filter over the stove and the one in the vacuum cleaner need a good clean.
Otherwise the house was clean with additional things like tabletennis table and plenty of outdoor seating

Thank you for your review. Yes, sadly you stayed with us during the coldest temperatures that Queensland has experienced in decades. Please note the air conditioner ins reverse-cycle if set to heat and there are extra blankets at the top of each robe for guest use. We have checked and cleaned the fridge freezer and vacuum and both smell and work perfectly. We wish you safe future travels.
A very clean, uncluttered and welcoming house. Great cross ventilation throughout. A good hot water supply to kitchen, bathroom and ensuite. A collection of activity equipment, bikes, body boards etc for youngsters. Close to beach, shops and bus stop. A quiet friendly neighbourhood. The secure fenced grassed yard provided shade and sun for our furry companion to lie in. THANK YOU TO THE OWNERS for providing a dog friendly house and yard.🐶🐾🐾.
Professional service was provided by Bribie Island Real Estate prior to arrival. Communication via email and SMS gave current status of plans. A bonus ~ the property was ready earlier than expected. We will happily come again.
Beds good,lounge comfortable.
This property was cold & draughty, there was no heating!
The agent refused to supply any! We needed 2 door keys,he refused to supply. He supplied no key to garage door, said we’d lost it! I finally demanded he come to the house & demonstrate that none of the keys supplied fit the door.He then produced a new key that fitted!
The lounge was dark & poorly lit.It was not possible to read the paper.
There were no side plates,so we had to go & buy 5.
Nasty plastic platters which were scratched & unhygienic
was the owner’s solution.
Insufficient clothes hangers- we had to go & buy a dozen.
The floor cleaner provided is a ineffective toy- it picked up nothing but built up strings of dirt on the floor head.
There were no extract fans in the toilets or showers, - not
pleasant.

Sadly, this review is absolutely incorrect. Ian and his wife stay with our agency every year for at least the past ten years. Every year they stay we recommend they book with another agency, yet they continue to stay with us year after year.
Every year they book a low budget property (about $20 per person per night) for four weeks and every year they complain from the day they arrive to the day they leave. They are always extremely rude and difficult to please clients.
They always expect a property of higher value and presentation than they pay for. We have even tried recommending them properties to book as we have learnt what they want since they have stayed with us so long, yet they refuse to pay for the quality of property they want.
no regarding Ian's feedback. When Ian checked in, we advised that the owners had only provided the agency with one guest set of keys however we would organise for a second set to be cut which we did, and they picked this up from the office within two hours of checking in.
Ian had been staying at the property for two weeks and then suddenly did not have a garage, key which we knew they had been using for the first half of their stay without difficulty as we had visited the property multiple times to show them how to work the TV, washing machine and unlock a glass slider they didn't know how to use. However, that was no problem we visited the property with our key set and worked out which key had been misplaced and got another key and delivered it to him at no cost or complaint from our agency.
Regarding the kitchenware supplies and cleanliness of the property again these are absolutely false the property owners personally spend so much time and effort in the house, far more than most. The kitchen and cleanliness of the property is always above expectations. Infact the guest that vacated just before Ian arrived left the following review:
"Very clean and tidy house, had everything we needed and more. Great vibe, easily accessible – lots of little extras. It is apparent that a lot of planning and preparation of the property has been done and it is certainly appreciated from our end! We would not hesitate to recommend this rental property as a family."
I felt that the holes in the kitchen and bathroom curtains and the 1970 curtains in the two double bedrooms spoiled what was otherwise a great little house…
O and the pillows were so thin, we couldn’t sleep on them…
