The place was fully equipped with everything you would need for your stay and more. The owner was very responsive to questions and very helpful! There were 6 dogs on the property and they greeted us every time we returned to the property. They were so well behaved! The owner allowed us to use her Netflix account, so we watched movies every night. We had a great stay!

From the owner: ''Hi! I love your review. That's exactly how I feel, too!Blessings!''
Beautiful sweet and quiet little shouse. Had everything we needed. Kimberly is awesome to work with and very accommodating. The dogs and cats were an added bonus. All very sweet and well behaved! Will definitely be staying here again every chance we get!!
Grace Place was ideal for my stay because of its location, less than 10 minutes from Green Pastures Farm where I attended a grazing event.
Kimberly has done a great job setting up Grace Place for guests, and does a great job as a hostess!

Country place
Cute place in the country. If you like the living farm it could be for you. No cell coverage at all lots of cats, dogs, chickens including roosters and goats. Fair on cleanliness at best but cute.

Hi Linda, we're glad you found the home charming and appreciated its country setting! After reviewing your feedback with the homeowner, they wanted to share the following:- When connected to Wi-Fi, guests typically receive 3–5 bars of signal, so we're not sure what caused the issue during your stay.Thank you for your feedback—it helps us continue to improve and provide a great experience for future guests!
The house was lovely and very comfortable, stocked with everything we needed. The animals were an added bonus on the property as we have pets at home and the dogs and cats here are so friendly! The hot tub was great and easy to access. Kimberly was very communicative and kind, checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend visiting and staying as long as you can!

From the owner: "Hey Chad and Heather! I love having you stay at my place. You are the best guests and make having a vacation rental so much more of a blessing! Be blessed beyond measure."
Kimberly’s Grace Place was a wonderful and relaxing change of pace for this corporate traveler. The property was clean and private and easy to find, even at night. Only about 25 minutes from Columbia, you can have the convenience of home living and still conduct business with a very reasonable and easy commute. Highly recommended!
The best little place for a getaway! Cant say enough about this place! The owner was extremely responsive and so very thoughtful!!!! Had fresh baked muffins for our arrival to the Shouse!! The dogs were so friendly and welcoming!! We WILL be back!! NO QUESTION!!
We stayed here because we came down for a Father Daughter event for Mizzou. It was a great location not too far from Columbia but yet far enough for peace and serenity. This place was amazing! We were not here long enough to enjoy all the fun we could have but had an amazing time just chilling and fishing the pond. The puppies were sweet just like their owner Kimberly. Amazing sorry to this place and Kimberly’s welcome muffins were to die for! Will definitely come back and stay again!
All the hotels were booked AND overpriced in Columbia for Homecoming…. So we ventured out to this super cute VRBO 25 miles north out in the country!! Very clean and super spacious for a one bedroom!! Could have easily fit 2 more people on the couches !! Homemade muffins and fresh eggs waiting for us !!! Definitely be back !!

From the owner: "Thank you for staying at Grace Place! The muffins and eggs are always a guest favorite! I'm so glad you enjoyed them too! Hope to see you soon. Blessings."
This little place was just beautiful and so peaceful! We were far enough away to enjoy the country, but not too far to get groceries and have things to do. We loved that we had a full kitchen to prepare meals and not have to go out to eat all the time. The pool and hot tub were great! If you like to fish, bring your pole for the catch and release pond!! The animals are all so friendly and the farm animals are great to see! Kimberly, the host is so friendly. We would definitely recommend this gem to anyone!!
We were the first to stay in this new Vrbo. Kimberly was communicative and helpful. The cabin was well appointed with anything we could think of and then some, who has fresh eggs in the refrigerator for guests! The bedroom was quiet and a very comfortable bed. We were in town for an MU parents weekend, and the 30 min drive to Clark was scenic. We did not spend much time using the facilities as the weekend was packed with activity but we toured the property to find the hot tub and pool for the future. Brussels and Rosie the dogs were great tour guides and listened well, very cool dogs - can be kenneled if you let Kimberly know your preference. All in all a slice of heaven in the country, wish I was having breakfast outside overlooking the pond now instead of staring at my computer screen. Took us about 30 min to get to MU from the property in case that is of interest. Give it a go and have some Kimberly hospitality if your in the area!

Owner's Response: "Hey Dean and Bride, thank you for being our first guests at Grace Place! And, thank you for being so patient while we got the kinks out and for all your valuable suggestions. We now have an end table in the bedroom and a port/hub for connecting phones, tablets, etc. Thanks for your review!"
it was a beautiful, quant and quiet weekend away. the property was lively with all kinds of loving animals. the kitchen was nicely stocked with kitchenware, and good times were had by all!
My boyfriend and I wanted to getaway before both of us start our dream jobs this summer. We absolutely love the outdoors and both grew up weekending in more rural areas all of our lives. That being said, we immediately fell in love with Grace’s Place once seeing the pictures online and knew that we had to visit! The shouse was absolutely beautiful inside and out. We had the pleasure of also meeting Aubrey, Kimberly’s husband, and hope to meet Kimberly during our next stay. Aubrey was so welcoming and gave us quite the laugh with some of his stories that made us feel more at home than we do in the big city. Being HUGE animal lovers, we absolutely adored each and every animal on the farm, especially the family dogs and cat families. In fact, we fell in love with every aspect of the farm so much so that we already booked another trip to Grace’s Place this August. We are already counting the days until we can love on all the animals and see the beautiful scenery at the farm once again!
I stayed at Grace Place on May 14th & 15th 2022, as my sister was graduating from college in Columbia that weekend. I was very impressed with the property, it is well appointed, thoughtfully decorated and comfortable, the setting is so peaceful, the owners are very kind and their various pets and farm animals are awesome, especially the dogs, which act as a sort of welcoming party when you arrive. I didn't have time to take advantage of the pool, hot tub or fishing pond, but the inclusion of these amenities would make this an awesome, all inclusive escape, if you just wanted to get away for the weekend. I would definitely recommend Grace Place to anyone staying in the Columbia area who would like a peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle of the city, it was a great place to spend a weekend.
