We had such an amazing time! The place was clean and spacious and they had everything we needed. The hot tub was clean and easy to use (it is a 2 person hot tub rather than 4, couldn’t quite tell that from the photo but it worked nicely for us two people!) The hosts were so on top of everything and responsive to anything we needed. It was a quiet place even with others in the unit next door and we will definitely be coming back for our next vacation!

Clean, but overpriced
It was a nice getaway. Clean, quiet, and comfortable for a night or two max. 300/night felt like a gouge for what it was to be transparent - the bathroom was very bare bones (Days Inn feel) bright blue lights, economy level finishes, and underwhelming water pressure.

The right vacation home is everything, and we’re glad you enjoyed a clean, quiet, and comfortable getaway. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your review, and they wanted to share the following:- We were surprised to hear your comment about the nightly rate, as it is significantly less than the amount mentioned.- Our listing photos are provided so guests can see the home’s style, finishes, and features before booking, ensuring transparency about what to expect.- We’ll look into the water pressure to make sure it meets guest expectations in the future. We appreciate your feedback and are always looking for ways to improve the guest experience.
Great private and quiet spot shared with many deer. Tastefully decorated and well equipped. Comfortable bed. Close to Bethel Woods via scenic back roads!
Beautiful stay. Very quiet. Exactly as described. Will definitely be back. Thanks again!

This was a perfect spot for us to stay while seeing some shows at bethel woods over the weekend. This house was about 10 minutes away from the venue. The house was clean, and the bed was comfortable. We didn’t get in the hot tub, but it seems like a nice addition (I’m not good with bugs/outdoors at night, so while a dip in the hot tub after getting back from the show sounded nice, it just wasn’t for me).
The air conditioning unit worked well. And as for checking out instructions, all they ask is that you run the dishwasher, put the towels in the bathroom, and take the garbage out. I’ve been to other places where they ask you to wash the towels/sheets before leaving, so I definitely appreciate not having to do any of that.
Udo and Samantha were great at communicating. They sent a nice info sheet, with instructions on how to use most things in the house, and where to find everything, as well as some places to eat and things to do in the area. (The black currants and cream ice cream at sticky fingers was delicious).
There was another unit connected to us, but the yards were separated with a fence. So it was nice that we could technically go outside and hang out by ourselves (we didn’t, again my outdoor/bug thing at night).
If we go up to bethel woods again I would definitely hope to stay here.

Amazing Stay
My partner and I loved our stay here! The kitchen had a good supply of dishes and pans so we were able to do some fun cooking during our weekend away
Wow, what a find! We stayed for three nights as we were seeing two concerts at Bethel Woods. The location was perfect. It was so peaceful, quiet and private. The hot tub was great. Alex was quick to respond to any of our questions. There were people staying in the attached rental but we hardly noticed. It was uncharacteristically hot so we would have enjoyed some a/c but we managed just fine with the fans provided. We will definitely be back next summer. Thanks for such a wonderful stay :)
Overall, it was a beautiful property.
There were a few things missing to make it a nicer experience.
For starters, there were mice droppings on the kitchen counter and in the bathroom. We cleaned them up, and there were more droppings the next morning so there are active mice.
Second, the listing did not say if it was A or B. That should be clear. There is no AC. That was not explained in listing or even in communication. I had to inquire why it was so hot and not working. They said to get fans from closet.
There should be a notebook with information about house, fans, hot tub, local interests, etc.
The kitchen needs a microwave and a toaster. There was also no ice or ice trays to make ice.
There should be more towels and hand towels. We stayed for 3 days/nights and had to reuse our towels for bathing and hot tub.
This listing would be excellent if the things mentioned were addressed.
This one-bedroom apartment was terrific! It was spotless. Everything was just as described in the listing, and the hot tub was marvelous on a cold winter day. The bed was luxurious with memory foam and the pillows were plentiful. The towels were plush and fluffy.
Two amenities would have really made our stay perfect: a microwave and a step stool. It wasn't easy to reach the dishes because they were perched on a high shelf.
We stayed on a very cold weekend in January after a few inches of snow and the central heat wasn't sufficient. We placed a call to the property manager who called us back immediately and directed us to the portable heaters. The heaters really helped until one stopped working. The snow made the driveway and porch a bit difficult to navigate. It would have been nice to have snow removal.
(Just a head's up: the shower handle is on backward -- cold is hot and hot is cold.) I was a bit disappointed that no one answered my message on VRBO before I booked. The emails I received after booking were auto responders. However, when I contacted the property manager, he replied right away.
