We love Cozy Cottage. The super friendly hosts have everything we need for a sweet stay. This is our third or fourth time enjoying deep sleep, river gazing, eagles watching and great memories.
Cozy Cottage is just as its name states. It is small but adequately furnished and supplied. We were able to settle in and enjoy our stay. The location is terrific, and the river views from the cottage and from the grassy area right down near the river were great. We saw the eagle who is nesting above the house a couple of times. Our only suggestion would be to make sure people know there is a long staircase of slightly irregular stairs to get to the cottage. This would not be a good place for anyone with mobility issues.
We're staying for 2 nights and we really enjoyed it
Small, clean and quiet cabin, very comfortable and equipped with everything you need
Thank you Pat and Andy for our wonderful weekend
An excellent place to rest after noisy NY:)
My boys and I had a great time staying here as a home base for fishing and rafting in the Delaware and going into town for a movie. If you're coming to the area, you can't go wrong!
Was a wonderful and relaxing little cabin! We loved being on the water and also being so close to town at the same time. The owners were kind and very approachable in case we ever needed anything. Definitely will recommend!!
Cozy, cozy property set on the side of a hill with a lovely view of the Delaware. We were there in June and it was nice and quiet, during peak summer months may be more bustling. All-in-all, a pleasant stay.
The cabin was a cute little place. Good for 2-3 people. Super clean and the owners seemed very friendly. Too bad the weather didn’t cooperate while we were there.
We Love this place, was our second time. On the Delaware River.
We got a few rafts tied them together and an anchor, stayed in the same place all day in the sun. If you’re lucky like we were you’ll see an American Eagle swoop down and pluck a fish out of the river. We BBQ every night and had a fire by the river. It was hot outside but the cabin was cool.
This is our 4th trip to the cozy cottage and we are already planning our 5th!! The location is amazing, the house is perfect, has everything you need. Perfect location by the river, for a lazy day hanging by the water. Pat and Andy are great hosts, always so welcoming and helpful. We absolutely love it there. Cannot recommend it enough!!

Absolutely beautiful!
Quaint little cottage on the Delaware River. Clean & well cared for. Owners are friendly and helpful. The view is breathtaking. We were only there for a quick getaway to visit family in the area- wish we could have stayed longer!

great wholesome fun
The cottage was clean and cozy and Pat was really nice. It was great going canoeing, swimming and spending the day on the delaware river. We didn't have to go anywhere else! There was even a box of games and toys to keep my 6 and 4yr old entertained! We had a great stay and would definitely come again!
We had a wonderful stay at this quaint fishing cottage! The property was exceptionally clean and well-equipped, making our visit both comfortable and convenient. The highlight was definitely the stunning view of the river from the cottage, which provided a peaceful backdrop to our mornings and evenings.
The owners were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met. They provided canoes and kayaks, adding a fun and adventurous touch to our stay. Additionally, the cottage is conveniently located near a charming old-fashioned downtown area with delightful shops and restaurants. We cant forget to mention the eagle's nest located on the property.
Overall, it was a lovely trip, and we highly recommend this cozy retreat for anyone looking to enjoy both natural beauty and warm hospitality.

Very cute and cozy
We were going to a concert at Bethel Woods and need a place to stay for two nights. This cottage fit the bill! It's very cute and cozy and overlooks the Delaware River. Callicoon is two minutes away with a brewery, a few restaurants and some fun thrift stores. Pat and Andy were very great.
The cabin is so much fun!! Feet away from the Delaware river. Kayaks cabins and rowboats to use. A fire pit. The cabin itself is so hide and cozy. Walking distance from town and a great park for my son. The porch is so nice to sit and have a drink at night 5 stars. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!
The cottage was immaculate, and the information given in their binder helped us navigate the local attractions. We traveled on Friday the 13th, and had all the bad luck that follows that folklore...lol. I made friends with the chipmunk, and a deer that would come down the side of the mountain each morning. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful weekend getaway, this it the place!
The cottage it self was great .The issue we had was the steps to the cottage to be fair it should state that the entrance to the cottage is very much a challenge.
So to be fair the listing should give more input on how to enter with caution on the very loose wooden steps.

We loved the house
Pat and Andy were great hosts and their rental cottage is wonderful. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived, it's very well equipped with the usual necessities (especially the kitchen) and the location is incredible....slightly up on a rise with a gorgeous view of the river and a fantastic long terrace by the front door lit up by pretty lights so that one can eat dinner comfortably outdoors while looking out at the river. The grassy area by the riverbank is also very sweet, with several comfortable chairs and a fire pit, so it's a great place for a morning coffee or an evening drink. We also loved the fact that it was a short walk down the road and across the bridge to go into Callicoon, so you don't have to drive if you just want a nice walk to go get breakfast or lunch in town. We will definitely be going back again!
It was clean. The stairs getting up to the place where a little unsteady. Not a place for anyone who has a hard time with stairs. May have been some mice issues, did not see any, I heard some bags being rustled in the middle of the night. The views are great. The owners live next door and are super friendly. You have use of a couple kayaks and canoes, but they definitely need to be cleaned. It was nice being on the river and for that reason I would stay here again. It is pretty private which is nice.
We had such a great time at this adorable lil cottage in the trees. The cottage itself was small and there were lots of steps to get to the river but it had everything that me and my 2 boys and husband could have needed for a weekend trip with the intent to go fishing. The canoe and kayaks were exactly as described and came with life jackets and oars and the cute lil beach right on the side of the river was perfect. The weather wasn’t great but the rain held out enough to get lots of time on the river in. We didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit by the river but that was ok because there was a small one up by the cottage that we used twice and it was a perfect place to roast marshmallows and listen to all of the frogs and eagles and other critters. The walk into town was short and the town of callicoon is super cute with lots of good options for food.
We had a great time and would highly recommend this place.
