The home is located on the West end of PCB, 1 mile from two grocery stores, 4 miles from Scenic Highway 30A, 6 miles from Pier Park shopping/dining, & 17 miles from ECP International airport.

The space
If you are looking to relax in a residential neighborhood that is removed from the high rise and high traffic region of Panama City Beach, the Kiska Cottage has both tranquil indoor and outdoor living spaces to help you unwind and enjoy yourself in your down time from the beach. With convenient access to a public beach access right at the end of our road, we also provide an array of beach toys and snorkel masks to help you make the most of your time on the sand or in the water.

Our "Old Florida" beach cottage welcomes you into an open kitchen, dining, and living room area, bright with large windows overlooking the front yard and carport patio. The full kitchen includes a large fridge with freezer, dishwasher, range with a 5th burner warming option, convection heat oven, basic pots/pants and some spices/condiments for basic functionality. Both bedrooms have queen beds and a tv - one bedroom offers access to a smart tv and the other bedroom offers access to cable. The living room features plenty of seating for 4 with a sofa and love seat combo, and has a new 55" smart tv (with access to Netflix included with the Cottage) and cable. The cozy home also features a large table, perfect for sit down meals or large work projects.

The front yard has an array of edible delights that you are welcome to as guests. There are fresh herbs such as Rosemary, two types of Oregano, and three types of Thyme right along the driveway for convenient and easy gathering for use. Fruit options planted in 2019 include: Pomegranate tree, Lemon tree, Lime tree, Orange tree, Mandarin tree, Pineapples, three types of Guava bush/trees, and Passion Fruit vines. We also have two large aloe plants available if you know how to make your own fresh aloe rub for sunburns and we have several citronella plants around the patio whose leaves are a natural mosquito protection when rubbed on the skin. If you are unsure if an item is edible, or if it is ready to harvest while you are here, feel free to ask! We are more than happy to help offer guidance and any mature edible items found in the front yard are yours to enjoy while you are here.

Our neighborhood of Kiska Beach is located along the very west end of Panama City Beach, nestled right between Sunnyside and Laguna Beach, and close to 30A. Our white sand beaches, emerald waters, and abundance of sun make Kiska Beach a spectacular place to visit year round. Our neighborhood does offer 4 public beach accesses within a few blocks for multiple easy accesses to the beach. The public beach access right at the end of our road is approximately a 5-8 minute casual stroll from the home. Aside from the beach, we are located within convenient driving access of the town's attractions and amenities, including 1 mile from two grocery stores, 4 miles from Scenic Highway 30A, 6 miles from Pier Park shopping/dining, & 17 miles from ECP International airport. Camp Helen to our West is just over a mile away and St Andrews State Park on the East end of Panama City Beach is approximately 17 miles away.

Guest access
The land has two homes on it, and the Kiska Cottage is the front home. Guests are allowed to use the front yard, the long driveway and the carport that has been set up as a shaded outdoor patio complete with a fan for hot Summer days. Owners do park in the front of the property, but stay off to the side so as not to get in your way. The enclosed back yard, and second home are reserved for the privacy of owner of the property and their pet.

Maximum occupancy is 4 people on property. No unauthorized guests allowed.

We reserve the right to ask that one adult above the age of 25 years old be present during occupancy of the home if any underage persons are involved. While we do have coded door access to the home, we require any parties with guests under the age of 25 to be greeted by the hosts at the time of your arrival.

Other things to note
It is likely to have the owners on premises during your stay, but they will not enter the home unless specifically asked or if there is suspected danger to the tenants or the home.

The Kiska Cottage has a 4 guest maximum on property and unauthorized guests are not permitted. We provide parking for up to two vehicles and there is no additional parking allowed in the grass or along the roadside.

We provide 2 bath towels and 1 beach towel per guest for the duration of your stay. We also provide 4 adult cruiser bikes, 4 adult backpack style beach chairs and a beach wagon that can hold up to 50lbs. We do not provide a beach umbrella with the home.

Guests welcomed into the Kiska Cottage beginning in December of 2019 will see new updates to the home. This may include changes to the bathroom, kitchen, living room and/or bedroom spaces, in ways that cannot be pictured until December of 2019. These changes may in include aesthetics and may update/change bathroom functionality by removing the tub and replacing with a shower only. Please confirm/clarify any details of functionality/accessibility of the home with the host prior to booking.
