"The Adventure in Evergreen" is a spacious, mountain home offering panoramic views of iconic, majestic Colorado mountains. The home is located on a scenic drive that goes to Echo Lake and Mr. Evans Scenic Byway. This is a pretty quiet neighborhood, with only 4 houses on the street.

You will love our fully-equipped kitchen! Plenty of space to prepare a meal from simple to gourmet. There is a BBQ grill on the back deck and a fifth bedroom with a full bath and kitchenette!

Relax upstairs in front of pellet stove fireplace or downstairs in front of the pellet stove - perfect for chilly evenings together. The down stairs has a bar, as well as, a ping pong table. Great for family tournaments. Don't forget about the third level that has a wide screen television and lot's of space to watch the game.
You must try the hot tub located on the lower patio of the house. This hot tub offers the same views as the living room and upper deck

Don’t want to be inside? Perfect! There is an upper balcony & lower patio, offering optimal outdoor living spaces. Hiking & cycling (road & mountain) – are incredible & easily accessible. Bring your hiking boots & bike(s)! It is a wonderful place to take a walk in the morning or at dusk, when you are most likely to run into our most populous neighbors - the elk, deer, & the occasional red fox. They're beautiful, majestic & look harmless. But it's not advisable to try to pet or feed them.
__
Charming, historic “downtown” Evergreen is a quick drive from the house. Settled in 1859, it retains much of its old west charm. Dining options are a plenty as well as wonderful & unique shopping, music, galleries, & nightlife.
__
Just down the road is the picturesque Elk Meadow Park, aptly named b/c if you're there early in the morning or at dusk, you'll likely see elk leisurely grazing. Go for a beautiful hike through the park, or up the mountain to Bergen Peak, a moderately challenging climb.
__
Evergreen Lake is nearby & offers a day's worth of activities, in any season. In winter, there's skating, ice fishing, & cross-country skiing. If you visit over New Year's, celebrate by roasting marshmallows by firelight, gazing at ice thrones, & watching the falling ice star & fantastic firework display at midnight. In summer, enjoy fishing, sailing, stand-up paddle boarding, canoeing & more... Rent boats, kayaks, or paddle boards at the lake (or paddle boards at Big R). There's also a music festival, w/ free music on Wed. nights.
__
Depending on when you visit, we've got the Bluegrass Festival, Jazz Festival, Music at Myers Ranch Concerts, Rodeo & Parade held on Fathers' Day weekend, and NOW - THREE wonderful craft breweries, right in Evergreen - Evergreen Brewery, Lariat Lodge, & El Rancho!
__
Mount Evans is a short drive away – visible from the house! Hike a 14-er (or drive up North America's highest paved road!), rock climb, ice climb, or just enjoy the alpine beauty.
__
Red Rocks Amphitheater is 20-mins away down "the canyon road". Besides being a great concert venue, it's gorgeous, & ideal for hiking.
__
Please know that traveling in Colorado in the months of November through April, you will need a 4 wheel or all wheel drive (AWD) vehicle. Please do not drive to the Adventure in Evergreen without the appropriate vehicle.

Everything we dreamed about and more!
I spent 5 full days driving a 100 mile radius in the Denver/Boulder/Mountains areas searching for the perfect spot for our gathering... and the moment I saw this property I knew immediately that this was IT. And sure enough, this property exceeded our expectations in every possible way! We felt transported to a magical, private and luxurious place in the mountains, yet it was so accessible to town and easy to get to and from the airport and surrounding cities. It was a perfect size - large enough to breathe, yet still intimate and warm and cozy. It was modern and new and clean (very important to us), while also having an old world charm feel to it. We will forever remember our special weekend, and are so grateful to the hosts for their incredible hospitality!

The location was great and views are exceptional. The house was clean and well kept. The only minor issue is it needed some lightbulb replace and the sink in the master bedroom was slow to drain. Everything else was great

Beautiful Location
Perfect for a quiet get away yet close to Denver or other small communities. Although the refrigerator stopped working, Bryan was right on top of it. My one recommendation would be to have TV in bedroom(s) for those who can only fall asleep that way. Kids and adults loved the ping pong tournament!

Beautiful views and rustic location. Hiking in the area was great. We had great grill outs and spent most time outside (nice outdoor heaters). Nice outdoor and indoor furniture also a bonus for a big group.
