Great Lake House

This house was perfect for our family of 6. We all loved the room that looked out over the lake. It was a great place to chill and enjoy the view. The dock worked out great for our boat and was nice to relax on. The house was not too far from restaurants and grocery stores, which was nice. We plan to rent again.

Family gathering at the lake

Our family got together to celebrate a special birthday at Lake Sinclair. Our VRBO served as our main sleeping area and worked out well. It was a beautiful for weekend and it would’ve been nice to have screen so that we could keep the windows open, but that was just a minor inconvenience.

Clean and cozy

House was well taken care of and clean. Good for 4 adults and 3 kids. Several different sitting areas inside and out. It would be great if there were screens in the windows. Lots of bees when we were there in mid March. Neighbor seems like a rental and they were noisy late into the night.

The home was really nice and fit our family of 4 well. The owners really took care of us and were very responsive when we needed any support or questions answered. The home is a bit away from everything so we drove an hour an half to Atlanta and nearby cities to hang out. If being outdoors all weekend is what you're looking for, this is the home to reserve.

Cute Little Paradise on The Water

My family and I needed a place to stay as my son was playing baseball at GSCU. This place did the trick. We were not in the home much as we were at the ball field but the time we were there, it was very peaceful. There were a few things that needed corrected but the owner was on it and made it right. We have no complaints! We would love to rent again when we can enjoy the property. Thanks Larry!!!! Great place

Quiet and cute

Overall we had a very nice stay at the Peninsula View. Kitchen was well stocked, TVs, hvac, and internet worked well, view was **beautiful**- even on rainy days, and we liked the fire pit and dock for lazy nights. Wish the windows had screens, and bathrooms could use some extra ventilation. This house is stylish with decor. Bedding is comfortable. House is not toddler nor elderly friendly due to all the steep stairs(there are tons inside and outside) and lack of rails. We big a large truck /had a second car and parking was tight- but fine. Not close to much (20+ mins) but we liked that honestly.

Not as expected

Unfortunately, we were not pleased with the state of the property. It didn't appear the property had been cleaned. There were cobwebs inside everywhere. The sunken living room's AC did not work. The deck had leaves everywhere and the chairs had spider webs everywhere as well as the dock. There is a nail sticking up in the upstairs loft area. These are all items that should have been taken care of prior to our arrival. This property is not worth the cost.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: - Regarding your cleaning concerns, we maintain high cleanliness standards for the property. After you gave us your feedback, we communicated our expectations to the new leader of our cleaning team to make sure this doesn't recur for future guests. - Additionally, we're arranging for our pest control company to service the home for spiders. - The issue with the lower A/C unit was due to a tripped circuit breaker, which has now been resolved. - Our team routinely clears the patio of debris during each cleaning. However, it's important to note that, especially during this time of year, with the presence of trees, some leaves on the ground and patio are expected. - The nail sticking out on the steps was caused by a broken trim piece. We'll have it replaced, but for safety, we've temporarily secured it by hammering the nail down to prevent any accidents. - We wish you'd reached out to the guest contact during your stay if there were any issues you needed to be addressed. We would've done everything we could to resolve them immediately so that you could enjoy the home. We appreciate your feedback so we can continue to improve and help this homeowner provide guests with the 5-star service they are known for. Thanks for taking the time to leave your review.

If you need a little R&R, this is it! This house was perfect! Our favorite was the dock and the big windows overlooking the water. We enjoyed the days on the boat and the evenings on the dock. We look forward to returning next year! Boat rentals: We rented a boat from Sinclair Marina, was only 15 mins from the house.

Great area of the lake

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The house was well-stocked with everything we could think of needing. My favorite was having coffee by the windows overlooking the lake every morning. The decor was very well done. Overall a great stay!

Wonderful house and location

It is the little things that made this rental wonderful. Everything is made to make you welcome upon arrival. All the essentials and more are there for your first day. The house is beautiful, the lake is perfect for watersport. We had a great time and highly recommend this rental.

If you’re looking for relaxation, serenity, and beautiful views, LOOK NO FURTHER. The pics do not do this property justice. It is absolutely a modern beauty! Not to mention, the host thought of everything you may possibly need during your stay and is only a phone call away if there are any questions that you may have. This home may just be an annual thing for me and my family in the future.
