Wine country retreat

The cottage was a cozy, comfortable and inviting home base for exploring the northern Willamette Valley, close to the beautiful town of McMinnville (lots of restaurants, wine tasting rooms and nice shops). The hosts were very responsive and helpful.

Quiet and private beautiful setting

So nice to stay out of town yet only a few minutes from town. Everything you need in the kitchen to prepare a meal. Even washer and dryer. Fun watching the birds and deer. The hosts are very hospitable. We would stay there again.

Delightful Cottage

Comfy, conveniently located. Great hosts, and attractive property. A bit of barking from the dog next door, but it didn’t last. Cottage is very well appointed, very clean, and well-maintained.

I had such a wonderful stay here! The place was spotless, quiet, and just the right size for what I needed. The property owners went above and beyond to make me feel welcome with a thoughtful card and the sweetest touch—homemade cookies waiting for me. They were super kind and attentive throughout my stay. I travel often for work, and this has been one of my favorite stays so far. Peaceful, comfortable, and all the little details made it feel extra special. Highly recommend!

Truly a Great Get Away

It was a solo trip and I enjoyed all the extra touches that the cottage provided. I was able to relax, feel safe and the surrounding area was beautiful. Even the mornings I had to work I didn’t mind because the cottage was so cute. There is hiking close by that the host pointed out that I appreciated. I would definitely like to come back!

Wonderful Little Cabin

Had a very relaxing stay in this quaint "cabin". Kathryn and John are wonderful hosts, they even had freshly baked cookies waiting for us. The location was perfect. Close to McMinnville and Linfield University yet far enough from town to enjoy the peace and quiet of a more rural setting. The place was just right. Cute, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Cute, clean and welcoming!

Kathryn made sure everything was great for us. They have a new air conditioner which worked really well. We actually had to turn it up, as the cottage was getting cold! The flowers are beautiful and the deer are friendly! Highly recommend!!!

The accommodations were great. The owners were very respectful of my privacy. They also go above and beyond to make my stay wonderful. Goodies in the fridge and in a goodie bag. Newspapers at the door. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for sharing your home.

Cozy and Inviting

The cottage is comfortable and cozy. The small space is well laid out and has what you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the country setting, yet close to town. I found the bed to be comfortable, but may be too soft and not supportive for a heavier person. Kathryn was very responsive with communications, and we really appreciated the special baked treats. Definitely recommend.

Pictures Lie

Incredible, friendly hosts. However, the description was inaccurate as to the validity of being a flower farm. Not many flowers and property was not tidy.
Response from VrboOwner on 3 July 2023
Hi Steve, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: We are glad you chose our home and we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your stay. We use professional photography for the home, so the features you see on the listing are accurately advertised. Flowers are always seasonal and they were in bloom during your stay however, possibly not to the degree anticipated. We are very disheartened by your feedback. We do all we can to make our homes the best possible stays, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. Thank you for your feedback!

Great stay! Awesome hosts!

This is a great little cottage. Kathryn and John have thought of everything you could possibly need and are truly amazing hosts. They make sure that you don't want for anything and are always available if you do. They put a lot of care into the landscape and it's lovely. Not to mention the yummy welcome cookies! So very thoughtful. The location is central to everything. It's nice that it's just outside of town, so you get the quiet of the country while still being close to town and everything else. We took a day trip to the coast to meet up with a friend and it was a quick and beautiful drive.Highly recommend this stay.
