• Normal check-in time is 4pm on the arrival date. For check-in's from 1pm - 4:00pm, it's an extra $50 to have an extra cleaner assist with servicing the property. Check-in's before 1pm would require booking the previous night at a much-discounted rate. Contact host for details.

Street parking cannot be guaranteed and when utilizing street parking please make sure to adhere by city and state laws.

*Please note this home is a duplex and the entire upstairs is occupied by other residents while the entire bottom floor is the space being offered. Our space is not handicapped accessible or ADA compliant.

North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here. This home is ideally located within close proximity to numerous New Orleans landmarks, including Jackson Square (1.6 Miles), Caesars Superdome/Smoothie King Center (1.3 Miles), City Park (3.5 Miles), and Lafayette Cemetery No. 1 (3.3 Miles).

Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with the classic architecture of a NOLA duplex updated with a modern twist. You’ll have full access to the entire first floor unit, while friendly neighbors live upstairs. Listen to NOLA jazz & brass music on the covered front porch as you enjoy a cocktail or two just like a local. Or maybe you’ll simply enjoy the breeze with a cup of coffee as you people watch bikers, dog walkers, or the occasional Second Line stroll down the Greenway.

Enter into a modern open Kitchen & Living Room with clean lines & contemporary decor. There’s room for everyone to get comfy on the couch, chairs, or dining table to watch a movie on the large Smart TV or play a board game. With a fully equipped kitchen and new appliances, eating in has never been easier…although do you really want to in New Orleans?

Past the kitchen you’ll find the first 2 Private Bedrooms decorated with their own style. Each room has with an extremely comfy queen bed (just look at our reviews!), plenty of pillows, and a walk-in closet to hang up your coats or hide away your luggage. At night, cozy up in bed and watch your favorite show or movie with the accompanying ROKU Smart TV in every bedroom. There’s a shared Bathroom for the 2 hallway bedrooms with new high-end fixtures and a tub to relax in. Forgot your shampoo or conditioner? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!

Down the hall you’ll find the in-unit laundry tucked behind double doors. You can confidently pack less knowing that these full-sized, high-efficiency Washer and Dryer units will have your whole group’s clothing clean in no time. We’ll provide a packet of laundry detergent to get you started.

In the spacious Primary Bedroom at the end of the hall, you’ll be greeted with a beautiful canopy queen bed and wonderful natural light from the window looking out to the backyard. The desk in this room provides a Private Workspace to comfortably spread out and wrap up that last minute work before you head to the French Quarter. Make yourself at home by unpacking into the contemporary dresser or sit back and relax while watching the ROKU Smart TV. To the right is your Attached Bathroom Suite with a large shower tub to soak in, double vanity, and walk-in closet.

We are about a 7 minute drive to the French Quarter and Downtown! Alternatively, the Lafitte Greenway (a bike path to the French Quarter!) is right across the street with bike rentals on the way there!

Great location, great stay!
The house was located in a great part of town. Close enough to walk to key locations but far enough away that it was nice and quiet. It was well appointed and clean and the host very responsive. We had an issue with the neighbor next door playing loud music after 1000p but the host stepped in to help get the music turned down eventually. All in all a great stay!

Weekend at Jazz Fest
The place was perfect for our girls weekend! It was just a 10 minute walk to Canal St where you can catch the trolley. There is a great bagel and coffee shop just a few blocks down. We were able to walk during the day and feel completely safe. The beds were super comfy. Everything seemed brand new in the unit. The only negative was that we could've used more fresh towels. We only had two in the master, and with women - we typically use two towels per person. Would definitely book here again!

Great location, and just as advertised!
This adorable home was just as described, with a comfortable living area, 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 full baths! I was even able to enjoy my coffee on the porch in the morning. The location was great - quiet, safe, and easily accessible by cab to the French Quarter and other locations (walking and public transportation are an option, but it was hot and just as easy to split a cab). Also, Whole Foods within walking distance! TV, Netflix and air conditioning worked great, and clean towels and bath products were in strong supply. The beds were comfortable, though there were definitely protective plastic coverings under the sheets that made for sleeping “hot” and a bit uncomfortable. I understand the owner's desire to protect their property, but for 3 responsible adults in their 30's, it was overkill. The home was certainly clean, but the owner may want to check in from time to time to ensure the cleanings are up to their standards - some things could have been dusted a bit more, there was some residual soap scum and buildup in the shower head, and a couple of random items left in drawers that were obviously from previous visitors. But all in all, would definitely book again and recommend! If you're looking for a quiet and comfortable space with easy access to the French Quarter, you've found it!
