Pre xmas getaway

This is our 2nd stay here and just like the 1st its exactly what we needed before the xmas rush. Enjoyed our stay, very relaxing, and love that the beach is just a couple mins drive away. Thank you to the host's for such an easy stay

Awesome spot

Had a fantastic stay at Donald's bach at one four double one Marokopa!! Donald was a fantastic property manager - incredibly easy to deal with and the check-in/check-out process was a breeze. The bach was fantastic - awesome communal areas with great amenities. Will definitely boom again if I'm back in the area!

Amazing Stay

Incredibly stay with an excellent friendly host, she welcomed us later than expected after doing caving all day with a roaring fire and spa ready to go. Beautiful location, welcoming to families and friends as it has lots of open space, inside and out. We will definitely be returning

Fantastic area!

We had a great time at this sweet little stay! The owner is on the property with you but wants only for you to let loose and have a good time. Great host! Billiards, a hot tub, full kitchen, a huge back yard and amazing views of the sunset and town below. A short walk brings you to the nearby beach for more sunset views, black sand and watching the tide roll in. The local drives are awesome. I can imagine this space would be especially good for a family. More space than we've had in our entire travels. Visit the lovely Marokopa!Thanks for having us!

Girls weekend

Our weekend away at 1411 was just what we needed. As a friend group we were able to make the most of our stay, enjoying the spa pool, stunning views and nature walks close by. The facilities were exactly as advertised and Donald was an awesome host, leaving us to enjoy our holiday. Thank you for having us Donald I hope our music and laughs didn't cause too much disturbance 😊👍

A place in Marokopa!

We had a fantastic stay. Place is very spacious. Great facilities including well equipped kitchen, pool table, spa pool, fire place and comfortable beds. Beautiful distance view and grea location to have local adventures. Place was very clean and host was very welcoming and friendly. + 5 star!!!

Amazing house, great facilities for a group of friends like us

The bedroom was huge and had lots of apace, dividers between beds if you wanted but wasn’t necessary for us. The facilities were awesome, had everything we needed including a pool table, tv, and spa pool. Also a really beautiful look out area overlooking the river and looking out towards the beach break. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much

Great views and great set up for entertaining. Note that everyone sleeps in the same room but there are partitions. Its fun. Kitchen needs better appointing with knives, crockery etc but host was responsive to this

Humble stay

What an enjoyable stay for me and my family we never really get to experience what we have in our backyard of Aotearoa, but this will forever be a memorable moment, great views, and a great entertainment setup I really enjoyed watching my favorite (The Godfather)with a delicious hot tub, bbq area, playground area, what a great space for a sleeping area, toilet, shower right off the sleeping area, all in all, I loved it although due to the weather, we couldn't visit the beach the view from the balcony of the house was a treasured kodak moment, Thank you Donald you have a awesome set up:)

quick stop

Great place. we only had 1 night stop over. One thing was the lack of notification on how to access property we took a guess tjat we cld get in as hadnt received details. not sure if this was a bookabach thing. wldnt stop us staying again as was a great spot and very comfortable.

Amazing Winter Getaway

We had a lovely couple of days here in the middle of winter. Enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of Marokopa and the most amazing weather. The bach was exactly what we wanted and exactly as described. Donald was very helpful also. When at the bach, all enjoyed countless hours playing pool and in the spa. The property had everything we needed, the only thing we would have liked would have been enough chairs for everyone at the indoor dinner table. It was just too cold to eat outside. I'm sure we'll be back at some point.

Best place in town

Most of Marokopa is tent sites and small baches. This property is up on the hill providing an amazing view and is a higher quality, you will feel like you've found the best place in town.

Laid back in Marokopa

Great spot for a chilled out break. Bach has 2 big rooms. One large open plan kitchen living dining with a queen bed. Has access to the deck and BBQ. Second room has 2 sets of bunks, queen bed, mini pool table and laundry. This room has a garage door on the north end and a picnic table outside the door so good for indoor outdoor family fun. Access to shower and loo is off second room. Big grassy space outside for cricket games, campfire and fireworks launching. Sunset views are great as the bach is elevated and looks out over the river and sea. Marokopa is really freindly. There are no shops or big flash baches. Rubbish and recycling station nearby. Good kahawai fishing in the river mouth.
