Bad area and hassle to get in to
The pics of this property are deceiving. If you're not familiar with the area, you may be surprised by the rough housing projects across the street. This is not a place you want to show up to at night or after having TOO good of a time downtown. You have to put in a code to open the gate to get on the property. You have a second code to gain access to the building and a third code to get into your unit. From the email that was sent to me with all the access info and "house rules", the only code I had that was correct was for the gate. If I hadn't run into a cleaning lady who used her code, we wouldn't have been able to get inside. Come to find out, when I requested the details on the apartment to be sent to me via email, I was sent the wrong info. We left to go to dinner and shortly after our return, someone was at our door punching in a code. Had we not had the deadbolt engaged, someone would have walked right in on us. Shortly after, management was beating on our door telling us we didn't have a valid reservation. Someone should have just called me about the confusion. They did get it straightened out but after two late evening interruptions. As for the house rules.....they must only apply to vrbo renters because the rest of the building was loud, people running in and out, yelling at each other in the parking lot and the smell of pot hit you in the face when you entered the building. The commotion and lack of common courtesy for other people in the building went on until the early morning. IMO...for what it's worth, this area is not safe, I would not recommend it to ladies going to Nashville for a good time and quite honestly, I won't return. This was so not my typical Nashville experience.
