Only a 12-minute drive to the stunning beaches of Brunswick Heads & Byron Bay, this is a great place to have as a base to explore all that the Byron hinterland and beyond, has to offer. The charming space is an independent two story apartment. Downstairs has a fully fenced courtyard with a cushioned day bed to lounge around and relax. The courtyard is straddled by three large trees that provide shade whilst letting in dappled sunlight for you to relax in. Once you walk inside you'll find the lounge/kitchen area. The lounge has a large coffee table and comfortable sofa that turns into a small double sofa bed (suitable for 2 small people). WIFI and TV allow you to connect with the rest of the world. Kitchen - Fully equipped with a small fridge, two hotplates and a small microwave oven. You will find all you need to have breakfast or cook an evening meal. There is no formal dining area.
The entire downstairs area including the bathroom is disability accessible. The spacious bathroom comes with toiletries and a washing machine and dryer.
There is a set of stairs leading to a landing which contains a small work desk and sitting chair should you need to catch up on work or relax to read a book. This then leads to a beautiful light and airy spacious Queen bedroom with built-in wardrobe, two bed side tables with lamps and a large slatted double window looking out into Mullumbimby proper.
The apartment has a powerful Airconditioning unit that cools down the entire space when needed.
This space isn't an add-on to a larger property it is an independent dwelling that you have to yourself for the duration of your stay. Being in town, there are normal town noises during the day that drop off early to peaceful Mullum evenings and nights.
All linen and towels are provided during your stay. Please let us know if you will require the use of the sofa bed. The spacious bedroom has plenty of room for a travel cot or kids mattress to fit. A family of 4 (2 young children) could sleep comfortably in the one bedroom without using the sofa.
IGA is just around the corner and Woolworths a few blocks away.
We have styled this place with love and care and love our guests that take care of the place as if it were their own.
We have a self check in process but are on hand if you need us. You will have access to the whole apartment like it is your own. This includes the front yard, downstairs area, landing on the mezzanine and the bedroom area. There is also a car space allotted to the apartment (number 2) as well as plenty of street parking.
Keep in mind the apartment is in town. Mullum is a peaceful little village but there are town noises that generally taper off to beautiful silence after 6pm or so.

We arrived out the accomodation and were told that it had been double booked. We waited in the rain for 2hrs before being offered a room for 1 night. The communication was terrible and we did not receive even the slightest apology for the inconvenience. My partner, daughter and our dogs were left stranded. We had to cancel our plans that had been booked the following day, and travel home the next day. Apparently it was a booking error, but I had been communicating with host daily, so it was obviously a human error. I am out of pocket hundreds of dollars and will never be booking with stayz again and will be telling everyone about our experience. My birthday weekend ended in tears. It was a terrible weekend all round.

Mullum Haven 2 is an upstairs Bedroom and downstairs Kitchen, Lounge room, Bathroom with Laundry and Court Yard. The description and photos supplied by the Host are excellent. The communication email on how to enter the Town House was sent the day before check in and description of where to park was spot on. Everything here is supplied, just bring some food to stock the fridge.
A big Thank you to the Host and I would definitely stay here again !!!

Basic! Has stairs! Heavy traffic noise from 5am. Would prefer to receive access details earlier - previously have received details 24 hours before. While these details were received 6 hours before, it would have been helpful to have known they would only come then.

Unfortunately we could not gain access on our arrival nor get the agent to return our calls. She was under the impression we had received an email stating how we gain access but we never received that email nor any information on how to go about contacting her.
On every other level we were happy to be there.

The check in process was very poor on the hosts behalf, i had to message her on the morning we were arriving to say i havent recieved any information about check in and keys etc. We got the information through only to get there and someone was already in our unit, she had double booked us , she was not answering her phone calls or messages ,We contacted Stayz and were told we were in unit 2 , not what the email said !!And the host said she was to busy to deal with the problem !!!!!!And the codes didnt work. Everntually dot in to the unit, had booked for 3 adults 1 child , only had 2 bath towels the whole time we were there and a terrible sofa bed which was so uncomfortable for the kids . The front was hanging off the hinges and we couldnt close the door properly i reported it , nothing happened, i had to screw the screws back in with a knife ..The location was great. But just not happy with the communication with the host.

The couch is so very uncomfortable. No blockout blinds in the bedroom so cant sleep as desired so no rest on the weekend away! Didnt get address or check in details until i had to text asking for details 2 hours before check-in. The space is so depressing and uncomfortable and the cheapest set up ever. Minimal effort was put in thinking of comfort. The floors are freezing cold downstairs because they're concrete. The fan in the bathroom does absolutely nothing. The gan upstairs doesnt work properly.The entrance area is a a mess, unclean and frankly unwelcoming.Very disappointed a waste of money, at 200 a night. Also situated right next a tyre auto shop, wouldnt want to stay there on a weekday.I'd get my money back if I could.
Location worked well for us. Check in process was easy. Property was clean and tidy.
