The house was a nice place to stay. Had an issue with the door code getting in and in the process the system got locked up. The local host was there in 15 minutes and got the issue resolved. They were very responsive.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The location is very close to downtown. We didn't cook anything so I can't speak to the kitchen, but there were plenty of towels and we didn't need anything that wasn't provided.

Nice & cozy “Antique” Home

Home was a very nice antique/historical Home..original floors and setup. Favorite thing about the home was the antique claw foot tub/shower and the location was great as well!

Quaint Cottage

This was a quaint & cozy cottage close to the lake and some beautiful houses/dock houses. There's quite a few places to visit that aren't to far of a drive. We liked our stay and would stay again. A few things were needed to give it the more homey feel for us, however, we adapted. We would stay here again.

Very clean

Very cute house in a good neighborhood. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels. They have all the basics for the Kitchen. Only complaint is that if you are spending time in the house sitting is limited. Living room furniture is cute but for 3 adults over 40 not very comfortable. This would not stop me from staying there again. Overall much better than a hotel and the price point is good.

Home away from home

I've lost track on how many times I have stayed here on my visits to Lake Charles. It was good the first time, and each time I go, improvements have been made, things have been added. I will stay here again. Any issues I have had are minor, but I text D*** and he responds back quickly and the issue is taken care of.

Nice place but should have read more about it.

I’m from the area and was traveling back for a quick visit! The house itself was great, cozy, and easy. However it does not have a few things I expected like a toaster, microwave, or much of anything in the kitchen. I’d recommend the owner grab a few things like baking pans and a toaster for sure.It had plenty of room for the two of us. I would absolutely rent this place again.

The spacious yard provided a serene spot for morning coffee and even some impromptu outdoor games, making the whole experience feel like a little slice ofparadise.Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and the host went above and beyond to ensure a seamless, stress-free stay. Cozy Comfort

The cottage surpassed my expectations. The home was spacious, comfortable, cozy, clean, accommodating, centrally located, great neighborhood and safe. I moved away from Lake Charles a few years ago, this is the first time in a while the city felt like home and it had a sense of normalcy. Charming cottage in Lake Charles

It was a wonderful stay reconnecting with family in Lake Charles. The house was clean, well appointed and extremely comfortable. We also appreciated the TV's including Netflix. The kitchen was cozy but very functional. Washer and dryer were also a plus. We will be back soon.

It was a nice house in what seemed to be a nice neighborhood. Location was good with pretty much everything we had planned. It wasn’t far from anything. Only thing I would try to fix would be the addition of a coffee table in the living room. It was a little inconvenient with no cable, only the tv apps. The other thing would be the bathroom shower was a little crammed with having to use the ring around you shower curtain with no place to lay anything inside. All in all, I was pleased with the house.
