Cal King beds with fantastic memory foam mattress in both bedrooms, Roku TVs (you can login with your own streaming service logins). Costco, Safeway, Target are just a few miles up the road. Pearl Harbor & Waikiki are a short 30 minute drive and the North Shore surfing spots are about an hour. Ko Olina has the best beach on Oahu, golf, a marina and fabulous restaurants.

Please note, although the MAX occupancy is 5, the villa is best suited for group of 4. 5 people are considered (and comfortable) only if one is a baby or young child.

The Lanihonua Villas are beautiful and we want our guest's stays to be relaxing and carefree. In order for all guests to enjoy their stay to the fullest, we do have some rules for all guests including:

EVENTS:
No 'events' can be held at the property (ie if you are coming to attend a wedding or family reunion, no events can be held at the unit other than for those guests that are on the rental agreement)

OCCUPANCY:
2br units: Max total overnight guests 5 + baby (under 2). Best suited for 2 adults and 2-3 children.

PARKING:
The units have 1 parking spot for a rental car in the driveway and a spot for a VERY small vehicle in the garage, no additional free parking is available. Work cars/vans/trucks with signage may not be parked onsite. You can contact the Ko Olina Golf Club re: the potential of renting an additional spot (approx .4 mile from the villas) but we make no guarantee of availability.

RESTRICTIONS

This property may not be rented for less than 30 consecutive days. Rental prices will not be reduced or adjusted based on the number of days the rental is actually used or occupied.

Only registered guests (max 5) are allowed at the pool at any one time (only 2 pool cards and must sign in with unit #)

Happiness on Oahu

We had an amazing 5 weeks in Ko Olina! The villa was lovely and super stocked with everything we needed for the beach and exploring. Communicating with Betsy was easy and a pleasure. We are truly grateful to have such a nice, family setting to explore and enjoy Oahu. The picture included is our son, hanging out with the sea turtles of Paradise Cove, our favorite little spot. Mahalo!!

Hands Down Best Vacation Rental Experience EVER!

For the past 10 years I've rented vacation condos, apartments, villas, houses, etc. around the world preferring them to hotels for anything more than a 3-day stay. Lani Honua is hands down the best experience I have ever had and I wholeheartedly recommend it for your Hawaii vacation! You will not find a more thoughtfully provisioned home-away-from-home. From the fun and sexy items like the super mod golf cart for 4 with rack for ice chest and beach chairs, 6 sets of snorkel masks and fins, various sized bikes, razor scooters and beach toys to the incredibly thoughtful items like really nice towels (and a lot of them), good knives, Netflix streaming, high chair and really clean, full-size crib and a book filled with super helpful tips and advice the owners have done their best to anticipate every need and clearly have gone out of their way to ensure an incredibly easy and comfortable haven for families. The location is fantastic with 4 lovely lagoons that each have their own flavor and style and offer beautiful sunset views and gentle water that's perfect for little ones (and big people, too) to enjoy sun, surf and sand. With several big hotels nearby, there are plenty of attractions including music and dining options as well as a lovely golf course and Safeway, Costco and Target are an exit or two away. The communication around our arrival and departure was fantastic and I really appreciated the little extras that made our stay so special. We will definitely be back and in the meantime, my little boy reminds me of how much he loves the "goat cart" on a daily basis!! Thank you, Lani Honua!!! Mahalo! MM

wonderful place to stay in Ko Olina

The photos look great, but this villa was even better in person. We loved our stay here and had an amazing time. The unit is super clean, well decorated, and well appointed. I've never stayed in a vacation rental that was so well equipped! The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. The appliances, pots pans, and knives were top quality. When I say that you can pack your clothes and hit the road, I mean it! This place has everything you could possibly want or need. If you have children then look no further. My 3 year old was over the moon with the books, toys, and games that the unit provided. There is a crib, toddler aero bed, jogging stroller, booster seat, sippy cups and on and on! It was so nice not to have to pack all that extra stuff. The garage is STOCKED!!! Coolers, beach chairs, pool noodles, snorkeling gear, balls, sand toys, beach mat, bikes, bike trailer for the little ones...and the best thing of all was the electric golf cart. It made getting to the beach, the nearby market, and restaurants a breeze. There was always parking for the golf cart at the lagoons. My husband was very happy with the electronics in the unit and the amazing grill on the lanai. I loved sitting on the comfy couch where I could watch my toddler safely run around the green belt. If you are visiting Ko Olina then I highly recommend this villa. I just hope it's available the next time we visit!

Absolutely Incredible!

This villa is exactly what it says it is: LUXURY! First of all, this property is gorgeous. The interior looks as though it has been professionally decorated and all of the beds are so comfortable with luxurious sheets, pillows, and duvets. The patio opens to a small quiet yard and the patio furniture is gorgeous as well - comfortable lounge furniture that makes you want to curl up all day with a book, enjoying Hawaii's warmth. The kitchen is large and fully equipped to handle any meal you may want to prepare. There is also a grill on the patio, which we utilized many times. Honestly, the kitchen was so wonderful that we found ourselves buying groceries and fixing a quick meal at home in the evenings rather than going out to eat after a long day at the beach or hiking. Another wonderful thing about this villa is that it's not just the kitchen that is well equipped - the entire villa is equipped such that when planning your trip to Hawaii all you need to do is pack yourself and your clothes and you'll be set. There are toiletries, towels, boogie boards, sand toys, water toys, bicycles, scooters, and washer/dryer. The golf cart is also an amazing amenity, as it allows you to drive around Ko'Olina and park at the 4 lagoons nearby with priority parking! There are also plenty of games and toys for children to play with inside the villa and the TV (there is one in each bedroom as well as one in the family room) has cable and netflix for those nights in. The location is fantastic, as there are 4 lagoons within minutes that provide ample opportunities for sun bathing or snorkeling, and it is the perfect place for children to play without having to worry about undertow. The entire Ko'Olina area is family friendly and there are a couple of restaurants and a small grocery store within Ko'Olina, with Target and Costco a short drive away. My family and I (husband + 4 children ages 8, 6, 4, & 1) originally booked lodging for our 2 week stay in Makaha (further north) and when we arrived on O'ahu and at our original booking site we were shocked to find that it was not as advertised. We were upset and sure that our vacation was ruined. By the grace of God I found this property, and Betsy was amazing to help us get everything situated to get in the next day. Betsy saved our vacation, and this villa absolutely made our vacation. It was the best kind of home away from home I could ever imagine and I would recommend this property in a heartbeat!!!

Wonderful getaway on Oahu's west side!

We recently spent a glorious two weeks at Betsy's townhome, and it was truly a home away from home! The place was very clean upon arrival and had every amenity we could have wanted. The GEM was truly a gem, what a fun way to get around the Ko'Olina area, either to head to a lagoon like Lanikuhonua for sea turtle snorkeling, or just to drive it! We used the bikes everyday, and there was a rental station just outside of the complex if you need another bike or size. The unit had snorkels, boogie boards, a cooler, plenty of beach towels, and chairs for the beach. As far as a rental kitchen goes, you have everything you need - even a pineapple corer/slicer! We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely as always!

This was our 4th time staying at the villa. We just love coming here! It's the most comfortable place for families with kids. It's well appointed, stylishly decorated and comfortably furnished. The owners go out of their way to maintain the unit and keep it in top notch shape. The golf cart is so much fun and make getting to the lagoons a breeze. We've just about outgrown the 2 bedroom unit are looking forward to trying out their 3 bed unit in the future. Don't hesitate to book here, you'll be guaranteed a very pleasant holiday if you do.

Perfect place for families with young children!

We almost always rent through VRBO/HomeAway when traveling, and this Villa has been our best experience to date. Betsy was very responsive and professional. Execelltent communication both before and during our stay. We loved taking the GEM to the lagoons for beach days, and to ice cream at night in the little shopping center, it made traveling around Ko Olina easier than taking our rental car and it's fun t drive. The Villa was very clean and the kitchen had every gadget and appliance you can think of. For families: This is the Villa you want. It's close to the gentle lagoons, a pool for evening or low key days, multiple tvs for lazy evenings (or cartoons in the kids room while a grown-up movie is on in the living room) close to costco/Walmart, and has every single piece of baby/toddler gear you need. We were traveling with a 4 and 1 year old, and felt so at home here. We alternated days around Ko Olina and exploring the island. On our previous trip to Oahu, we went with a budget studio on Kailua. We didn't realize how much time we would be spending inside while traveling with little littles, and it simply wasn't big enough or able to accommodate the needs of toddlers. This Villa was perfect, and I've already recommended it to several of our friends.

Fantastic very clean place

Oh my goodness this was the most amazing place to stay. We stayed for five weeks and the location was amazing, close to everything. This place has everything and I mean everything. We felt so safe and totally at home. The golf cart was the best and we would never rent another place now without one. Lucky 1st Time Visitors to Hawaii

We just returned from a fabulous stay here on the island of Oahu. This was our first time visiting Hawaii and we feel so lucky to have stumbled onto this great property for our stay. Everything was as advertised and any small little issues and/ or needs were quickly and efficiently addressed by Betsy and her team. They couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. We will definitely use them again should we return to Oahu in the future! Highly recommended!

Beautiful homeaway indeed

Our family sees traveling as the best way of spending a holiday, so we've been to many places all around the world, including Australia, all of the Asia and half of Europe, but this property and place leaves such an impression, that you can't stop thinking about it even half of the year past. For the family of three (2,5 y.o.son) the house feels like a castle, with comfortouble bedrooms, kitchen and living room, all the equipment new and easy to use, the place reminds of "desperate housewives" environment, and we liked it very much. The garage is filled with extra's that are very nice and useful, the Co Olina itself has the best beach for the small kids, the owners of property are really kind, friendly and always give swift responce to any request. The only way not to recommend this place is if you want to keep it for yourself.

Couldn't be better

We stayed at this condo for a full month. Absolute best VRBO accommodation I've experienced. Fully stocked, including spices and non-perishables in kitchen. Garage houses golf cart, snorkeling gear, rafts, cooler, etc. Location couldn't be better. Owners responsive, friendly, and professional. Absolutely no complaints or suggestions for improvement. Will definitely return. HIGHLY recommend (especially if you love paradise!)

Paradise found

This was our first stay in Hawaii and our first vacation as a family of 4. We were nervous, of course - travelling with two little kids is usually more stressful than relaxing. It turned out to be fantastic! From the moment we entered the condo we knew that this was a place of pure happiness, love and sunshine. There was a huge box of toys and tons of books waiting for my excited boys. An ice cold bottle of white wine in the fridge, waiting for us. Crisp white, soft sheets. Sparkling clean bathrooms. A well equipped kitchen (even utensils for kids and sippy cups - you name it), a bucket of chalk for the kids to decorate the outside patio.... and of course the garage! Like a huge treasure box for beach gear... This place is wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. Thank you, Betsy! We will come back for sure.

Blissful, Memorable and Easy!!!

Thank you Betsy and Jason for delivering everything that was promised and more! My Mom, kids and I had an amazing time during our stay at your gorgeous Villa! It really felt like home...stocked with everything we could possibly need from a fully stocked kitchen, to snorkeling gear of all sizes, and not to mention really comfortable beds!! We loved taking the golf cart out late in the day to the lagoons to watch the sunset and really loved eating at one of your recommended restaurants, Monkeypod! The lagoons provided easy, safe swimming for my kids and they loved having visits from beautiful sea turtles almost every day! A lovely drive up the coast to the North of the island and a visit to Hanauma Bay made our visit complete!! We all dream of returning soon;) Mahalo!!!

This was our third year in a row at the villa. It really is a very well appointed home away from home. You will want for nothing and the owners are very pleasant and accommodating. I really can't recommend this rental highly enough. It's the perfect place for a family to stay in Ko Olina and we wouldn't stay anywhere else. Looking forward to next year!

Couldn't Ask For a Better Place to Stay!!

What a perfect way to spend our vacation. First off, the communication from the owners was fantastic. They are always willing to assist with any questions we had, and were very proactive in ensuring we were comfortable during our stay. The condo was completely furbished with everything we needed for our stay, whether we hung out at the condo or played at the lagoons. The condo was very clean and child friendly. Plus, the golf cart was an awesome mode of transportation, and the girls loved Netflix! We cant wait to plan our next vacation to Ko Olina and are looking forward to having the same experience once again. Ahloha & Mahalo!

Wonderful property- Didn't want to leave!

I want to thank you Betsy for the most wonderful October our family has ever had! LaniHonua was absolutely fabulous!This unit has it all. So many toys, books and games. We loved how all of the water toys, snorkels and fins, beach umbrellas and beach chairs were supplied for us. The Gem car was so convenient to load up and take to the coves. We could always find parking when we had it, and lets be honest...it's so cool!! The kids loved it. The kitchen and bath were also so well stocked. We truly felt at home there. All of us were sad to leave. Definitely working on filling up the piggy bank so we can return! Thanks again!

Awesome villa with everything you need and more!

First of all, from beginning to end Betsy was wonderful with her warm inviting personality making the process from reservation, payment, arrival and checking out so easy from a million miles away! LOL We arrived at the Ko Olina Resort so excited about the resort in general. Then when we arrived at the villa we were pleased even more! We were welcomed with a beach bag full of Hawaiian treats! The villa was furnished to the max! The pool and hot tub area is beautiful! We felt like there was not a single thing we could have needed or wanted except food for cooking. We even enjoyed grilling out! The beds were extremely comfortable! The garage was stocked with every beach item from coolers to chairs to floats whether you are an adult or a child! Greatest of all was the beach buggy! Dennis especially loved taxing around the resort and it was so nice to get special parking at any of the lagoons. We didn't have to move the car once to get around at the resort! We took advantage of the close proximity of all the amentities in the Ko Olina Resort, the Disney Resort and lagoon, Paradise Cove Luau , The Marina which we cruised on a catamaran for snorkeling and by using the beach buggy had easy parking for all! Great return visit

Perfect for Families

We could not have asked for a better place to stay in Oahu! First, Betsy and Jason were a breeze to work with. Phone calls and emails were promptly responded to and questions quickly answered. Ko Olina is a wonderful place to stay on the island - out of the crowds of Honolulu and Waikiki with easy access to the North Shore. The villa itself was amazing - just as advertised. The decorating was beachy and relaxing without all the the bad beach decor. It was stocked to the gills with everything a family could need - coffee, condiments, beach towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear and the list goes on. Bring your clothes and purchase your food and you are good to go. Our family tended to do a beach day and then an excursion day to another part of the island, beach day, excursion day and so on. We went to Lagoon 2 and Lagoon 3, both were nice, but by far our favorite was Lanikuhonua (the lagoon with the turtles). It was beautiful, the turtles were there, there is a shallow area perfect for my younger children and tide pools to explore. The GEM car - what can I say? It made getting anywhere in the resort super easy - the lagoons (parking spaces just for the golf carts always available!), the golf course, restaurants. Definitely a huge amenity. I would definitely recommend staying here and if and when we plan another trip to Hawaii, I would definitely consider staying here again.

Great amenities but.......

Let me start off by saying the villa was amazing. Amenities are great and we loved the area. We ended up having 2 extra guests then listed on the rental agreement, the owner was very understanding and flexible with that, however thats where the good review stops. When we arrived we could not get the air conditioner below 75 degrees. After texting the owner she advised us that they have it locked at 75 and that most people find that comfortable. 75 degrees inside with humidity is not by any means comfortable and no one got a lot of sleep because it was to hot and stuffy. We took very good care of the villa, never wore shoes in the house always rinsed our feet off, always ate at the table and cleaned nightly. When we left we cleaned the villa and put everything back were it belonged. When we arrived home we received a very nasty email from the owner stating than according to her cleaning crew we had left the villa "trashed" that things were missing, broken, stained and damaged. She stated that we would have to wait at least 2 weeks before she would know if we were getting our deposit back. She also stated that she would be traveling there herself to assess the damage and file a claim with the rental insurance. She went as far to say that after she filed that we would be responsible for anything over the $1500 damage protection. We were extremely upset over this as when we left the villa was in perfect condition minus 1 bowl that had broke. We emailed her and explained to her that was absolutely untrue what the crew was telling her. She responded with and even longer and less pleasant email. After 2 days I requested an itemized list of what her crew was telling her was wrong. She did not email me with a response but I did get an email for home away stating that my whole deposit was being returned. I was not surprised because we knew there was noting wrong with the villa. I never received an apology from her for her harsh words. The bottom line is that the owner is hard to deal with and doesn't wait before she jumps into accusations that are untrue. We go to Hawaii twice a year, usually Maui or Kauai, we always use home away and we have never not received our deposit or have any problems with any owner. My suggestion would be take pictures when you arrive and when you leave to prove the condition of the villa, or even better don't waste your money on this island or this owner and go to a Maui or Kauai.

Ko Olina Vacation

This place is awesome! The Villa is stocked with everything that was listed and more. The whole place was perfectly clean and well stocked. I was very appreciative of the owners willingness to work with us and provide recommendations for things to do. My kids have already decided that we must go back, they absolutely loved the golf cart and the lagoons. We went to each of them and even saw a monk seal and sea turtles. I have already recommended this place to 2 other families with small children, it is perfect for them.

Excellent vacation

The villa is excellently equipped and much bigger than it looks in the photos. The golf cart is great fun to get around in and attracts many admiring glances. The Ko Olina beaches are superb and excellent for young kids. Owners were always very helpful and communicated quickly. Really couldn't ask for anything more and probably our best vacation ever. Would give it 6 stars if we could.

Outstanding!!!!!

My husband and I brought his mother and my parents with us to Oahu. We typically vacation in a timeshare unit, so we thought we knew what to expect when we arrived at the villa. WOW---we were pleasantly surprised by all of the extras provided for us. We were greeted with a very nice hawaiian tote bag on the counter, which was full of goodies. The refrigerator was stocked with condiments that are not usually provided (i.e. ketchup, mustard, relish, salad dressing, mayo, etc.) and there were many food snacks also provided in the cabinet, too! Anything we could have needed beyond groceries were provided. The dishwasher detergent, paper towels, ziploc baggies, etc. The cookware was top of the line. Laundry detergent and Shout stain remover were also provided. The bathrooms were fully stocked with nice shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a first aid kit, q-tips, etc. We found the beds to be the best we have slept on because of the Tempurpedic-like mattresses and very nice bedroom furniture. The TVs had great reception with cable TV on every set. The patio furniture was top of the line, as was the gas grill. The garage was stocked with bicycles, snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach chairs and floats, cooler, beach mat, beach cart, and so many more items. The electric gem car was so much fun, too. We quickly learned that when you go down to the lagoons to enjoy the ocean, the parking is in high demand with several vehicles waiting to get a spot. 4 of us climbed into the Gem car and drove down there---we boogied right past the people waiting in cars to park---we parked in the golf cart spot that was always empty! The unit was immaculate and very quiet. We highly recommend this villa and plan to rent it again in the near future. The Ko Olina area is beautiful, quiet, and yet, not too far of a drive from Honolulu. We called Betsy a couple of times when we had questions and she called us back immediately and was so kind and helpful. Betsy and Jason could teach others how to run a "customer-focused" quality-oriented business---they are AMAZING! THANK YOU for such a wonderful vacation---the villa, Betsy, and Jason made the difference for all 5 of us!! Vicki

The Best Vacation Ever

We enjoyed every minute of the trip to Ko Olina. We visited all of the lagoons, explored the area and took many side trips to different parts of the island. Couldn't have stayed in a better villa or a better area. The villa included so many amenities. We loved the kitchen (fully stocked with bowls, pots & pans and coffee) and the bedrooms were so comfortable. We also spent a lot of time reading on the relaxing lanai. Thank you for a great experience. We'd love to visit again!

What a great place to stay

There were so many things we loved about it. Here are some of our favorites: My son: Having a TV and books and games right in his room, and biking over to the lagoons for dinner (so fun, we did an evening bike ride almost every night). His favorite was Longboards at the beach, he thought every restaurant should have sand under the tables so your feet could play while you eat. My husband: A nice big comfy bed, and a well-equipped kitchen for making breakfast every morning. We enjoyed both Naupaka Terrace and Azul at the Ihilani and had some yummy seafood and pasta. Me: That cushy lounge on the lanai for reading and napping, easy access to the beach, and the fun flowered cruiser bike - with the basket, just perfect for a quick trip over to the market. This place has everything you need for a great time in Hawaii, and Betsy went above and beyond to get my son's favorite stuffed animal back to us when we accidentally left him behind. We've got nothing but good things to say about LaniHonua. Totally recommend!

We have 2 children and have seen them go from toddlers to young adults during our trips to Ko Olina! We look forward to welcoming guests and hope that they return year after year to enjoy the wonderful Ko Olina family lifestyle we love!

Why they chose this property

We have stayed at both Marriott hotels, several other Ko Olina condos & even the new Disney Aulani, but when we found our villa knew it was 'the one'.

It felt the most like a home and a getaway at the same time. The ground floor location, attached garage and walk out lanai to the grass area was an absolute 'must' for us. We wanted to be able to leave the doors open and let the kids have some freedom to play outside. Many of the condos in Ko Olina, while beautiful have very little actual outdoor space. The Lanihonua villa has a great lanai and lots of outdoor room. Quiet, gated community. NOT a party house. No weddings, events, bachelor/bachelorette parties allowed.

We also love that after a long day at the beach or shopping, there's no need to haul groceries or beach gear from a parking garage, into a freezing elevator, down a long hallway and then ending up on a tiny lanai facing your neighbor!
