Pinnacle Lodge -Your Private Scenic World

Pinnacle Lodge is your private “Scenic World” at the heart of the Megalong Valley. This is the Jurassic Park without dinosaurs. From dawn to dusk, the spectacular panoramic view of the valley will fuel you with energy, inspirations and affections. At night, you are at the Pinnacle to touch the stars. Otherworld is the closest word to describe this unique experience. Enjoy this contemporary comfort among one of the last Oasis on our planet.

Pinnacle Lodge offers luxurious, contemporary and stylish accommodation experience surrounded by the pure nature.

One of the highlights is the wrap-around veranda with breathtaking panoramic views of the stone escarpments in the Megalong Valley. Your group can enjoy a sunset BBQ at the veranda or a starlight party around the sunken fire pit.

The 2 lounge rooms are spacious and cosy with woodturning stove and jet master fireplace. A generous dining table can fit in 10 seats. The open kitchen is fully equipped with modern ovens, cooktops, coffee machines and dish washing machine.

There are five bedrooms
Bedroom 1 -Upstairs Loft room with views, Queen Bed with en suite.
Bedroom 2- Downstairs Master bedroom, Queen Bed with en suite.
Bedroom 3- Downstairs Queen bed with views.
Bedroom 4- Downstairs Twin bed x 2 with views.
Bedroom 5- Downstairs Double Bed.
Family bathroom and separate toilets

Last but not the least, there are two study desks and office chairs (good news for busy travellers).

Winter is the most popular season in the mountains. Many people love fireplace and firewood. We have prepared reasonable amount of firewood for you to enjoy during the winter months from June to August. Based on our experience, the amount of firewood should be sufficient to get you start for your stay. If you need more firewood, you can easily buy them from the nearby petrol station. To protect our environment, please consume firewood responsibly.



Cooling:
There is no air-conditioning in this property. The temperature in the Blue Mountains is usually 5~10 degree lower than Sydney metropolitan area. If you open the windows, you can catch lovely breezes in the mountains.

Beautiful house with stunning views. The house doesn't have reverse cycle heating - the main house needs to be heated with wood fire places. A small amount of split timber was left for this, however it was gone on the first night. Given the freezing temperatures, the owners really should either install reverse cycle heating or provide enough split timber to keep the place warm.

Hidden Gem

The family attended the Pinnacle Lodge and had a fantastic experience. The property and surroundings were stunning, well presented and had everything we needed. We look forward to our next trip where we will definitely look at staying again.

The property was amazing and the views spectacular. The house is very spacious with room to spread out. Beds & pillows were all comfortable, water pressure in showers were good and beautiful soft towels. We saw kangaroos each day on the propertyWe stayed for 2 nights In winter, I would recommend bringing at least 4-5 bags of wood, kindling and fire starters.The wood provided was only 3 pieces per inside fireplace and we had to clean out the fireplace from the previous booking. Being a group of ladies who do not have fireplaces at home and it bring the only heat source in the living areas, it would have been great if the fireplaces were set up and all we had to do was light them. We were tripping the power when we had the oven, microwave and dishwasher on and one of the heaters in the bedrooms was also constantly tripping the power. It was a shame the bed in the upstairs master bedroom wasn’t on the other side so you could lay in bed and see the sunrise/view of the mountainThese were only small inconveniences, overall it was a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again.

Fantastic getaway, need to supply more wood for heating, info folder needs updating, lots of the places mentioned have closed down, coffee machine was different than pictures, we arrived with coffee beans, was a pod machine instead. fab house, great location, we will be back

Nice place to stay with your family

It is truly escape from the city. Beautiful mountain view, renovated rooms, spent great time with firends and families. Stocked up with all the essentials, even more than what you expected, you only need to bring enough food and ingredients. It's summer, cannot avoid flies, but if the windows and cobweb can be cleaned regularly, that would be much better. Will definitely recommend to friends!!

Awesome view and breath of fresh air

This property was perfect for our group. We all wanted to get away from our busy lives, just to relax and enjoy each others company. The view of the mountains and the ever changing light was spectacular! The house was very comfortable, great size and well stocked for the number of guests we had. It was situated where you could not see any neighbours and was so peaceful. The verandah provided us with a great space to have breakfast and watch the light change throughout the day. The fire pit was awesome at dusk. Loved this house. Would stay again. :-)

Magnificent happy stay

During our visit from The Netherlands, we joined up with family members and stayed in this beautiful house. We used all five bedrooms. The location of this house is absolutely spectacular, located on a hillside with views that seem to stretch forever. We couldn't see any adjacent properties. The lawns and surrounding walks were beautifully mowed and the house was well prepared. We saw kangaroos in the garden and an echidna and had interesting walks on the property. This property is a definite must for a larger group :)

Perfect Major Birthday Venue

This property was just perfect for a major birthday celebration for the matriarch of the family. Children, spouses and grandchild. Location, views, homestead, decor and facilities were just perfect. The property was well-supplied, but this wasn't described in the material we were sent. But there was only 1 night's supply of coffee and firewood and the nearest shop is 40 mins away. Be more generous or let people know. Address and access details were only supplied on the day of arrival.

A slice of Paradise in the Megalong

I had my sister, mum, son and his girlfriend + Irish friends and cousins from Perth stay at Pinnacle Lodge to attend a wedding at Dryridge. This was the best kept and stocked house of the 2 rented in the Megalong Valley for a nearby wedding at Dryridge . Very well equipped house that is tasefully done up and offering fatastic views. Needless to say, my out of country/state visitors were suitably impressed. Commjunication with owners was prompt but the ;new' platform 'VRBO' vs Stayz is very clunky to use and only way I seem to be able to communicate is via emails to the owners. Areas for improvement: 1. Need to have an iron (luckily we brought our own) 2. Common bathroom downstairs seesm to have a leave 3. Lock on door to verandah from kitchen/dining at the back is not working 4. Welcome note indicates there is a bottle of wine from Dryridge estate but there wasn't one 5. Could have better quality toliet paper (current one is too thin)

Fabulous stay

Fabulous house with stunning views. Well set up. Would recommend bringing extra firewood for a winter stay... what was supplied only got us through the first night. Would highly recommend this place.

We stayed as a group of 10 friends to celebrate Christmas in July. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend. It was nice to see a property that sleeps 10 that actually has crockery, chairs etc for 10 people. Very well equipped kitchen. Beautiful views would recommend

Everything.. amazingly equiped, everything u need is there, easy to find, beautiful place, well finished, internet and access to Netflix, Prime etc, kitchen is fully functional, bedrooms are cozy and like 5 star hotel, electric blankets everywhere...
