The picnic table in the front yard is looking bad.There are rottening pumpkins by the front porch. Which should have been thrown away last October. The inside was very clean. The kitchen is well stocked. The antiques and furnishings are very nice. This was our 3rd time at Bressmer. And we love it. I hope they can take care of thesesmall things.

Very Nice Property

This property is very nice and conventiently located near the historic Abraham Lincoln House, Museum and Presidential Library. The architecture of the home is stunning and the modern touches make it a great place to spend the night. We enjoyed our stay.

Although my group stay was short…the place was amazing. Vintage historic place that was amazingly upgraded with nice amenities. Location was perfectly located in the heart of Springfield. I would definitely recommend this place to stay if coming to Springfield.

The home was incredible and just as stated in the description. Ample living areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms, plus many creature comforts and period decorations in every room! This historic mansion was a treasured place to live for a few days. The owners/managers were very kind and friendly, too!

If you’re looking for a place to stay that’s close to all of the Lincoln historical sites then this is it! Close to the capital building also. Mansion is in very good condition and decorated with all period furniture. Also has the modern features that you would expect. Great place to stay!
