Amazing Lakefront Retreat On Long Lake! by RedAwning

Lake fun awaits! Relax and enjoy this clean and freshly updated 2 story house

on Long Lake in Kalamazoo. Secluded in a private neighborhood yet still close

enough to the city and just a short drive when you want to enjoy a good

restaurant or a place to go for fun.



You'll love this amazing lakefront home in where you can make those family

memories you so deserve. Bring your own boat to explore Long Lake, a 575 acre

all sports lake. Enjoy all the amenities of home with a full updated kitchen,

dining table for meals or playing games, and a comfy family room for

conversation or just watching TV. Outdoors, you can relax or have fun in the

open grass of the backyard. Wrap up your night comfortably around our firepit

near the lake or gather around on our deck where you can enjoy our outdoor gas

firepit. Sleep comfortably in 2 bedrooms, each having a queen bed, with an

extra sleeper sofa in the living room to sleep 5 guests. 1.5 bathrooms and

private parking in the driveway.

Please note there is a separate studio home, dubbed the Pigeon House available

for rent at this location separately. Please check out our other listing to

Please note of the following policy in regards to pets:

\- Dogs under 65 pounds are allowed. All breeds are allowed, but Shepherd,

Dobermann, Rottweiler, and Pitbull will require prior approval.

\- Please be responsible of your own pets -- additional charge is applicable

in case of excessive shedding or tearing.

\- The pet fee is $25 per night excluding tax and processing fee with maximum

of 2 pets.

Nice stay on the lake

The Property was a nice size and private. It was equipped with everything we needed. It was fun the keep our boat there and visit with family on the lake. There was plenty of room for yard games and the kayaks were good also!

Setting was nice in a quiet location. However, both beds were old and very uncomfortable. The toilet next to the upstairs bedroom ran noisily every 10 minutes or so. The stairs to the basement level where the kitchen, 2nd bedroom and full bath are, are very narrow with narrow steps making it difficult to carry anything like suitcases or groceries down or up. The driveway is shared with another rental unit on the property, which was not disclosed in the listing.

We enjoyed our stay! It felt like we were at home the whole time. Only problem we had was something that you have no control over -- the WEATHER!! Next time we are in the Kalamazoo area we plan to stay there if the unit is available.

Lovely Place on the Water

The property is beautiful. There is an expansive yard right on the water with a small beach. It is cozy place with two bedrooms on separate floors. Each bedroom has a bath (one full; one powder room). The kitchen is well-appointed. The furnishings are modern and new.
