Great Month

Stayed at Lisa's property for one month. Great stay.The house is tastefully decorated. Large, spacious kitchen with up-to-date appliances and all the cookware/utensils you need. Plenty of living space. The house was spotless. The screened in pool/lanai area is a great place to relax and visit. Plenty of closet space with adequate hangers. Garage to pull your vehicle in out of the sun.Communication with Lisa was excellent. Fast to respond to any inquiry.The location is close to restaurants and stores. We will stay there again if possible. Highly recommended.

Nice clean home

Nice. Pool was too cool, ran out of paper towels and garbage bags. Third bedroom beds not comfortable. Large rooms, quiet neighborhood. Interior was very nice and very clean. Close enough to restaurants and stores.

A great stay!

This was a great place to stay while visiting nearby family. The house was very clean and beautifully styled. Check in/out was a breeze, we would definitely stay here again next time we visit.

This property is everything we could ask for, It was super clean, stocked with everything you need. Beds are comfortable and the pool and whole outdoor area was fantastic. Lisa was quick to answer all questions. We would definitely rent this property again.

Beautiful North Port Home

Absolutely beautiful home! We loved everything about our stay. Spacious house layout. Kids loved the bunk beds. Pool was perfect. We loved the beach recommendation.

Clean, well kept, relaxing home

We stayed for 3+ weeks in January 2024. The home was nicely decorated and very relaxing. The location was close to 41 with all restaurants and stores near-by. The salt water heated pool was by far the best. We plan to stay in the future for a longer period of time.

Great modern very clean property

This house was beautiful and super clean. Furnishings were practical and beautiful. Felt like we were staying in a model home. By far the best my family has ever stayed in. The pool was very clean, my kids enjoyed the pool our hole stay. Lisa the manager was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place

Just as described on VRBO. House is clean and up to date and the pool tops everything off nicely. Communication from owner was very good and timely. We were in florida for estate issues on another property we own, this house was the perfect proximity to the property we own. You wont be disappointed if you rent this property.

Memory Maker

Our stay was spectacular. This home has everything and more to make us feel welcome and at home. Our host, Lisa, was amazing to work with and responded quickly to any questions we had. The home is nicely decorated and offers everything you need. The grandkids loved the heated pool and the lanai was so inviting and comfortable. Don’t think you could go wrong renting this property. Best VRBO experience!!

My husband and I traveled with our two kids (ages 18 & 20) and their boyfriends and girlfriends. From the moment that we opened the front door, we knew this was going to be our favorite VRBO house that we have stayed in so far…we’ve stayed in some great ones and some sketch ones. Everything was so clean, had plenty of towels and bedding and the owner/manager was very responsive. The decorating was 10/10 for real! I loved that it wasn’t tacky decorating. Loved!! If we stay in the area again, we will definitely stay here!

Warm getaway

We really enjoyed our month long stay. The house was very comfortable, clean and well thought out. We especially loved the pool and outside seating. The kitchen was also very well equipped. The nearby bike/hike trail was an unexpected bonus! A few minor suggestions would be a mirror in the main guest room and additional towel rails or hooks in the bathrooms. There were two downsides that were beyond your control: 1) A rather loud and profane neighbor with dogs and 2) The occasional construction noise likely to increase as neighboring lots are built on. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

FIRE ANT INFESTATION. Renter Beware

VRBO allows max 1500 characters for reviews. My initial review was 4600 characters- as a disclaimer, there is more to this story than what I writing. A full, comprehensive review is listed on my place of business: MFK Weather Forecasting & Consulting -Check in/No issues -On the third night of 8 night stay, discover infestation (100+) FIRE ANTS in the window in 7 year old’s bedroom (1 foot from bed) -Owner was unresponsive for 13 minutes. I was not comfortable w/ VENOMOUS insects in the home; called VRBO & they granted a FULL REFUND due to health/safety concerns (sent pictures of fire ants). Planned on moving out ASAP. -Owners eventual response that night: take wasp spray in garage and “spray inside & out” until she could call pest company. Was 930 pm, dark, & I had no idea what type of nest could be outside. Was not my responsibility, nor felt safe -Moved our terrified kids into another room, was up literally all night packing, checking on kids, & checking other areas of interior of house for FIRE ANTS -Owner tells us following morning pest company will arrive earliest Tuesday, 36 hrs after 1st ants found, expected us to stay in infested home. Booked hotel and moved out -That evening, owner says entire house was sprayed inside & out, implying she expected us to stay in a home just sprayed with pesticide in its entirety -Two days later, VRBO rescinds refund request, lying and making up policies w/ no documentation -Owner also denies refund request -OVERALL AWFUL EXPERIENCE

Well-equipped and Comfortable house

Our family of 6 booked a weeklong stay in this house for a family wedding in the North Port/Venice area. We found the accommodations to be comfortable and clean. Lisa was very responsive to our messages and let us know about some repairs (which did not affect our stay). While we were busy with wedding festivities, we did manage to sneak in a few days at Nokomis Beach (an easy 30 minute drive - nice beach but very shelly) and Siesta Key (well worth the hour drive to sit on the powdery sand and collect sand dollars!). Only thing that would have made this house perfect would have been a few beach chairs and a cooler. But all in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Lots of great restaurants in the area including K & K bakery for some authentic European pastries and Anna Maria Oyster House for a great seafood dinner and tropical drinks. Definitely recommend this house if you are looking in the area.

We loved a lot about this house. Absolutely beautiful! Very clean and location was great! We really enjoyed the private pool and the house was well stocked with anything we needed. The only complaint we have is the WiFi/tv. It never worked properly while we stayed. You don’t have the option to just turn the tv on and flip channels. You have to sign into apps to watch shows and those didn’t work because the WiFi was awful. I signed in to several different apps and it would just spin. I connected my phone to the WiFi and tried to display shows on the smart tv from my phone but it wouldn’t work either because the WiFi was patchy. I connected my daughter’s tablet to the WiFi and it wouldn’t work either. I did reach out to Lisa and she let me know that it was showing it was working on her end. She also told me that if Netflix works… then the internet works. (I feel like ALL the apps should be working) but regardless … Netflix didn’t work either. She did offer to have a tech come the next day but she wasn’t super personable and I felt like I was bothering her. Other than that…. We really enjoyed our stay. We would stay here again for sure… if the WiFi was running properly.
