The cottage was in a nice setting but if you have small kids can be unsafe because of the drop down to the lake. Host was very friendly. The cottage had a lovely beaching feel with lovely decor but very dated. Cleanness wasn’t the greatest. On the surface it was fine but example the oven was awful extremely dirty or just really old. Beautiful original hardwood floors but had a lot of holes. The bathtub has seen better days. Also a lot of ants. Overall it was fine for what we needed. Have had better experiences with other places and welcoming gestures.

The lake view and comfy Muskoka chairs were wonderful, indeed the highlight of our stay there. We were surprised by the soaking wet carpet in the sunroom. I wrote to the owner about the non functioning coffee maker but there was nothing done to address this so we had to purchase black coffees late at night and refrigerate them till morning. The stained couch in the livingroom was off-putting, however it was more comfortable than the lumpy hard squeaky beds so we slept there for two nights. And the very odd business of looking for an address that does not exist yet on online maps made the arrival tricky. I’m very sad to realize the awful disruption that will be experienced by those in the house beside the rental cottages. Potential renters will not be happy to spend holiday time beside a dusty noisy construction site.
This is a lovely property with great views and close to the park. The owner, Frank, was helpful and communicated well. Overall a really good experience. I would recommend and would stay again if I was in the area.
This was a great cottage, perfect for our family of 4 and we loved the sunroom, such a bonus to sit and enjoy our morning coffee overlooking the lake!! Great location, close to amenities and local attractions but still private and secluded. Host was very responsive. Would stay again, thank you
Quiet location on the shore of Lake Erie. Close to Point Peele Park, to which the owner provides a park pass. Great owner - responded rapidly to questions.

A nice cottage with views
The beds and pillows were rather hard. Otherwise very good.
This is a great place , great views of the lake. Loved the sound of crickets at night. The screened porch was my favourite!
The Town was so near, close to restaurants and shopping.
We will be back

Nice view
Property was nice, clean and well maintained. Pictures and listing was deceiving however- access to water was difficult- a walk down a pathway of a cliff- very steep. I was staying with my elderly parents and they were not able to do the walk to water and therefore we were not able to swim. Very disappointing. Also, property was still being cleaned when I arrived ( after check in time) and I had to wait for the cleaners and property manager to finish- after I had been traveling 6 hours to reach the cottage.

Overall we didn’t not have a great experience here. We actually left a day early because we were so miserable and annoyed. There was noisy construction from 7am-5:30pm everyday we were there. We weren’t told that it was a lower unit and someone would be above us. This person had a visitor pound on their door at 6:15am and then proceeded to honk their car horn at them until they answered. It was not the peaceful lake front rental that was advertised. Aside from the noise, one of the beds was broken, the other one squeaked so much you couldn’t move at all. Some of the sheets and towels looked dirty. I wouldn’t recommend this property if you want a nice relaxing, worry free vacation.
Each summer we like to take our young grandkids away to a cottage for a week, and we have experienced many that look nothing like the listing as a result. Not the case at all with this stay. The fully stocked kitchen is truly fully stocked, and not with 1970's rusted out or broken dollar store junk either. The cottage was immaculate, the beds very comfortable (unheard of, I know), and the grounds landscaped beautifully. The one and only drawback (because I have a messed up hip) was the beachfront. The cottage is located on a sea cliff. Although there is a very wide, safe path gently zig-zagging down, it's not something I could manage with my hip and it's not something you would want to haul a kayak up and down. As I had two small children with me and an elderly dog, this is something I would have wanted to know in the listing. Then again, I probably wouldn't have made the booking and would have missed out on this fantastic cottage. Although swimming from the property is available, it just wasn't appropriate for our family. What I did find though is Seacliff public beach (dogs are allowed) complete with a fantastic Splash Park and playground a mere three minute drive away. It was wonderful, and shallow; perfect for little ones. The property being on that cliff definitely made the evenings spectacular though. Sitting by your bonfire, warm breeze off the lake keeping mosquitos away, fireflies all around. Absolutely loved our stay and will definitely book again.
Loved the cottage and the view! Very clean with a nice cozy feel. Very close to all local stores, restaurants, public beaches and public parks which was awesome. The trampoline is great for kids and adults but the playground/swingset needs some TLC. Would recommend this property to everyone!
The property was conveniently near Lemington and the marina to catch the Ferry to Pelee Island and also the Point Pelee National Park. My family enjoyed their stay, but we did have some issues that surfaced. A double booking of the location and a leak from the upstairs apartment that I mopped up every time the occupant upstairs had a shower. My wife had issues with air quality due to previous pets from other visitors. I was not aware, that it was a pet-friendly location. But I may have missed this when making my booking. Just as a point of information the lakefront is down a steep hill, with a switchback trail.
