About this property

Sunset Waters 11 - Family Friendly

This well appointed 2 bedroom townhouse is located on the hillside between the Marina and the Resort side of the Island.

The townhouse is fully self contained, fully air-conditioned and includes a fully equipped Kitchen and Laundry. All crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, linen, bath & beach towels are supplied.

The main bedroom consists of a queen size bed and opens up on to a private balcony, where you can enjoy a glass of wine while enjoying the fantastic Hamilton Island Sunsets.

The second bedroom has a single bed and Bunk Beds, High Chair and Baby Gate are also available.

The Bathroom has a shower bath, and there is a separate toilet upstairs as well as down stairs.

The living area has a smart T.V and opens out to a private courtyard, which has a B.B.Q and outdoor setting.

The Sunset Waters complex has its own private pool, surrounded by mature tropical gardens and you also have access to all resort pools and resort facilities.

To get around the Island with ease, you are provided with the exclusive use of a complimentary buggy. You will also be met by our valet service at the airport or ferry terminal and taken to your apartment. This service is also provided for your return.

You’ll have access to all Resort facilities, including water sports*, sports club* and The Kids Clownfish Club*. There are also baby-sitting services available through the Clownfish Club. *charges apply

Whatever takes your fancy in the food stakes, there are more than ten restaurants to choose from and do suggest booking ahead for the popular ones. There are various takeaway shops, a great Bakery, IGA Supermarket and Liquor shop, not to mention an array of boutique type stores and the ever-popular Tavern.

Most credit cards are accepted and there are several ATM’s around the island. EFTPOS facilities are also available.

Lovely location and island, but old and tired property

The island accommodation is very expensive so Sunset Waters does provide a more budget accommodation option and it came with a buggy to get around which was great.However it is an old and tired property with many items not working or missing. The beds were comfortable (though very soft) and the shower was powerful (though wouldn't stay up on the wall to stand under, so hand held only). We couldn't get the gas cooker to work, and the Nespresso machine milk frother was missing, the fridge water dispenser didn't work, and the roof was in mid repair. The swimming pool has been out of use since February and the agency has been aware of this since then, though we were not updated until just before the stay. We used the property just to sleep and enjoy the island which was amazing. Overall for the price we made it work.
