Nice place away from the busy city. Property manager was super nice and helpful with questions about the area. House was just as described, water access is a great plus to this property.
The location couldn't be better - the sunrise views are spectacular. The outdoor spaces are lovely and comfortable and the open porch with fireplace was a favorite nightly and early in the mornings. The home had everything we needed, bed was comfortable, host was friendly and responsive to questions.

So peaceful
Great cottage, right on the water. The outdoor living space is incredible. Truly a place to relax and get away to reset. The cottage also has a great layout - master bedroom on one side and the 2 additional bedrooms and 1 full bathroom on the other side of the living room/kitchen area. Kitchen is spacious and plenty of kitchenware to comfortably cook. I highly recommend the cottage!
Three of us wanted to spend a weekend catching up. The living room and covered back deck were perfect for sitting and having conversation. The view is lovely. The house location is fairly convenient to Kingston ferry as well as driving to peninsula destinations. Overall it was clean and comfortable. We would definitely go back.

Amazing!!
Rick, the host, was very easy to communicate with and very helpful. The house stocked with a lot of extra supplies. We were able to find what we needed without having to run to the store. Our son had so much fun being able to look for oysters site. We are already planning on coming back.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home on Hood Canal near Port Ludlow. Plenty of room and very well appointed - - very comfortable beds, classy furnishings, a kitchen with everything needed to cook all your meals, and a fantastic waterfront view!! The three season porch/deck is a major plus, and we took advantage of a great fire-pit area and separate/comfortable outdoor seating area. On top of all that we really appreciated the first-rate hospitality from the owner/host Rick. Rick was super responsive to our inquiries before and during our stay and went out of his way to ensure we had what we needed for an enjoyable/comfortable stay. We've stayed at VRBO/rental properties for many years, and Rick rises to the top as one of the very best hosts we've had the pleasure of working with - - thanks Rick!. We'd jump at the opportunity to stay at your place again!!

Nice place but not secluded
Overall, a very pleasant stay. We were grateful for the bottle of wine and bowl of fruit left for us. We enjoyed the kayaks although it tended to be rainy a bit and the porch with the propane fireplace. The place was well outfitted with supplies. We ended up not needing a lot of supplies that we brought with. One thing I would recommend is an upgrade of the linens and towels. They were a little old and dingy. Other than that, the place was very clean and well stocked.
We just returned from a 3 day stay with 5 adults at the cottage. The house is perfectly nestled in an airy forest setting with a gorgeous tree framed view of the water. Steps, though steep, gave direct access to the beach. There is a new fire pit and new seating ledge with swivel, rocking Adirondack chairs for lounging with coffee or cocktails. This was in addition to an open air porch also perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails.
Bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Rick made contact via text with us to check in and responded quickly to messages! Really appreciate them sharing there space. Highly recommend!

Comfortable Getaway on the Water with Beautiful Views
We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home on the water. The back deck is covered & enclosed on 3 sides. We had a pretty view of the water & the gas fire feature made it a cozy place to hang out in the evenings. We loved being able to go walk out the back deck, walk down the stairs to the rocky beach & take out the kayaks whenever we wanted. The house had a great layout that suited our family and was well provisioned with everything we needed from the gas grill & a variety of small appliances (coffee maker, blender, toaster oven/air fryer, crockpot).
Rick, our host, was super easy to work with & made sure we had everything we needed. He even made a trip out to drop off extra propane just in case we needed it.
We were thankful for a lovely place to help make our vacation memorable.
Nice cabin in the woods with a covered deck overlooking the Hood Canal bridge. Nice fire pit!
It was a nice experience but wished that we could have gotten more details about the cabin, it’s location and amenities when we were making our decision. An inside electric fireplace would be a nice amenity during the colder months. We will consider this property for a future stay.
We simply love this property. The two-king set up is perfect for two couples, with privacy as each room is on a different side of the house. The kitchen is well-stocked with more than just the basics. Thank you for the pound of Starbucks and the bottle of wine! The owner was friendly and responsive to our every need. The beds were comfortable! Highly recommend!
We had a great stay here! Well stocked kitchen, clean and comfortable and plenty of room for our family to spread out. The kayaks were a great bonus and used daily in the quiet bay. Amazing views and loved roasting marshmallows over the firepit as the sun set. Would highly recommend!
