We loved this property! I was impressed with the fact that they had everything we needed, including enough paper goods for the entire stay. It was clean and modern and the location to the ski resort is perfect. We rented our equipment from performance sports on the property and it was so easy!

Beautiful and fun getaway

Great condo. Furnishings were comfortable and cute. Very convenient for ski rebtals and accessing purgatory for skiing. The whole family loved the pool, hot tubs and sauna. So nice to have laundry in the condo as well!

Cozy cabin getaway

We had a great fall break! The cabin was clean and well stocked. Plenty of towels and cozy beds. We had the community pool/spa to ourselves each night and the big hall game room was cool. The property is gorgeous and a quick ride to silverton or back into durango. We will definitely be returning!

Mountain Getaway

Located in the Cascade Village community, this property offered beautiful views of the San Juan mountains. We went with 4 adults and 2 kids, and we did not feel cramped. The unit has been renovated recently with nice finishes throughout. The kitchen was well stocked compared to other rentals we stayed at. The kids enjoyed going to Purgatory which is less than 5 minutes away, and we also enjoyed fishing in some of the nearby lakes.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unless it is work or team travel, we almost exclusively choose to stay in rental properties. I am super critical of cleanliness and noise, and I can honestly say that this was probably the cleanest, well taken care of, quietest condos we have rented. We have stayed in this complex before, even rented from the same company, and we knew that it would be nice. This condo though, is right at the back of the complex so it felt super "mountainy". My teens enjoyed the pool, the outdoor hot tub, the trail at the back of the complex and the game room while i got to soak in the mountain air and got a great night's sleep. We visited two lakes, a few trails, the hot springs, Purgatory and Durango while we were visiting and everything was with 40 minutes. We can't wait to go back next year!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit 41 is adorably decorated and has everything you need. As an airbnb host myself, I was impressed with how well stocked the place was, with extra linens and pillows, and anything you would ever need in the kitchen, including full spice rack! The beds were super comfortable, I think Tempur-Pedic, and it was so nice to have king size beds in each room. We'll definitely stay here again. Also, being able to rent snowboard equipment on site at the cascade village was a huge bonus. The guys at Performance sports - the rental store, were super friendly and knowledgeable.

Reviewer Comments: It shows that this condo is newly remodeled, the kitchen is very well equiped to cook full meals; it has much more than the basics.Linens were high quality and other accesories were higher quality than what you would expect in a rental. I have rented quite a few times before in Cascade Village and this was the best furnished unit we have rented so far.Brandon responds with questions really fast. Only issue was a very spotty wifi and nonexistent in the rooms, but I understand that it was a property wide problem.

We arrived at night and during a rain storm, condo was a little hard to find, even with the map. Wish there was some markings to go off of. It was hot during our August stay, condo welcome packet said their were fans for the upstairs rooms. We found one fan. Had to purchase more. Also welcome packet said there was a restaurant on site. There was not, it had been closed for some time. That was really disappointing. Overall we would stay there again, very clean and comfortable. Loved the pool! Thank you for letting us stay in your condo.

I would wake up in the morning and sit on the patio with coffee and take the mountain air in, it was just heavenly. It was the peaceful retreat that my family and I needed to get away from it all. We also enjoyed going to the the nugget mountain bar as well as the ska brewing company. The property location was also close enough for us to take a scenic ride to Silverton.The family also spent a day soaking at the Durango Hot springs which was fantastic! We are very appreciative to Young Mountain management for their hospitality and we hope to come back again!

Good location and nice layout BUT

Property was neat and clean. Good location and view. We had two problems: 1. Too many stairs. 3 80 year olds and 2 in their 60s. 5 total. The rear entrance (less stairs) should be improved for non-snow seasons. 2. At checkout we brought the car to the rear entrance followed by 2 trucks with trailers. They were working on Unit 43. We told them we'd be leaving and they said "No problem". They then refused to move and we had to back out since we had backed in. The workers smirked.
