3 Short Blocks to Beach entrance!!
On 2nd Floor Near Beach, Playground, and Tennis Court. Large private second-floor deck has Ocean and Lake views.

GREAT LOCATION the corner of 2 wide streets! One short block to new fenced-in playground, tennis court, and shuffleboard courts -- all next to a beautiful lake with ducks and swans and a fountain. 3 Short Blocks to beach entrance. Short walk to bus. Short drive to train.

I want my guests to have a great stay, but if you are looking for a wild crazy time, this is not the house for you – and probably not the town for you. 
Guests need to be respectful of neighbors and the property and not be loud or rowdy. No drugs, drunkenness, or under-age drinking.
No Smoking (anything) or vaping in the apartment OR on the deck.

Bedroom #1: Queen bed has comfortable memory foam mattress. Bedroom #2 has a twin over fulll bunkbed. Living room has a full size futon, small table, vintage hutch with drawers and dropleaf desk, 2 chairs and a Roku TV. Folding snack tables in closet. Chair for dropleaf desk is in loft bedroom.

Fully Equipped Kitchen has small table with 4 bar stool chairs, but you'll want to enjoy most of your meals on the spacious deck with great ocean and lake views! Outdoor dining seating for 7.
Full Bathroom. Showerhead with hand-held option. (Please note that some guests might find the access to the bathroom sink is a bit tight.)

Hallway runs the length of the apartment.
Laundry room at end of hallway has small front-load combo washer-dryer.

SECURED HIGH-SPEED WIRELESS INTERNET CONNECTION.

HD RokuTV in living room.

Air Conditioning in bedrooms and living room.

Summer amenities include beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach toys, etc. A variety of books, games, and DVD's and videos (for both children and adults) are provided; Many more available upon request.

Well-behaved small to medium size dog generally allowed. $100 per stay up to one month - to be added to rental quote or deducted from damage deposit. Must not cause a disturbance to neighbors. Non-aggressive breeds and temperaments only. MUST BE APPROVED in advance in writing by owner.

Please note:
The apartment can only be accessed by a rather steep flight of stairs on the outside of the house. (There is also a back flight of stairs for emergency exit.) The open treds on main stairs scare some dogs.
All rooms are on the smaller side, as per photos.
A bedroom from another apartment overlooks the private deck. Guests there generally keep the blinds drawn for privacy.
Guest may need to sign form for township inspection.

We enjoyed our long weekend in Ocean Grove despite the rainy weather. The apartment is just 2 blocks from the boardwalk on an attractive side street in Ocean Grove. Lynn the owner was extremely helpful and responsive, she was available by text throughout our stay to answer questions or offer advice. We hope to return to Ocean Grove!

The second floor porch was fantastic during rain or shine; it was large enough to accommodate a large group. During our stay we ate all our meals there, and I’d have slept outside if I had prepared for it because it’s so wonderful. The hotest day’s can bring chilly evenings, from sea breezes; I wish I had brought a jacket/ swaershirt. There’s also a G. Forman bbq. The interior was very clean, decorated with a beach feeling. I’m allergic to dogs and cats and was not affected in this pet friendly place. The kitchen is well stock with everything you need to cook, serve, and eat and drink. There are also a bookshelf with books, and games for all ages; videos for children. The washer/dryer was useful—work well. The mattress in the first room/ living room was a “little lumpy” but the back room was great. Soft and firm. The host knows the area well and can suggest places for entertainment. She was available by email, text or phone; whenever needed/ answered questions. The neighborhood is quiet/ no loud music or parties. I was very happy and plan to return next year. 🌞🦀🏖⚓️

Wonderful Outdoor Deck

My partner and our two friends rented the 2nd floor 2bdr apartment over 4th of July weekend. We arrived at the check in time and Lynn (owner) was just finishing some last minute cleaning. Since we were a little paranoid about staying in someone's apartment during the whole COVID-19 situation, we brought our own Lysol, wipes and linens and did an additional clean before bringing our stuff in. However, the unit was very clean to begin with and included all of the essentials for those who are less worried. The unit itself was small, but the perfect size for 4 adults. The absolute selling point was the outdoor covered deck, which we spent almost the entire weekend enjoying. The deck was very spacious and had two tables which were perfect for cocktails and dinner. It also had a great ocean breeze which kept it cool during the summer heat. We had to call Lynn during our stay to help fix one of the bedroom doors which was stuck, but she responded very quickly and had it fixed while we stepped out for a walk. Ocean Grove Beach and boardwalk is only 3 blocks away, and we were able to walk up to the Asbury Park boardwalk within 20 minutes. Overall, we were very pleased with the apartment and would definitely stay again. Lynn was a a great host and made us feel welcome.

Wonderful clean 2nd story apartment in Ocean Grove with beautiful large deck. Great kitchen. Lynn was available if anything was needed -- which it wasn't -- because everything was just perfect. Would stay here again!

Walk to Beach/Boardwalk and Downtown Asbury Park

This rental is so quaint! We stayed here with our 2 kids for a weekend for a wedding. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and was very responsive to all questions or needs we had. I will caution that if you have trouble with stairs, you may not want to stay here - a long set of steep stairs to get to the unit. Other than that this is a cute rental with a ton of local charm!

We enjoyed our stay here, Lynn was a great host and we had all the amenities we needed. As the listing says, the beds are not the best. The bunk bed is very close to ceiling and I found it impossible to put sheets on, I would recommend just throwing a sleeping bag up there. The lower bunk has an older futon mattress on top of a regular mattress. No support or box spring. Okay for kids but not really adults. 16 open back stairs to climb to get to the apartment so be prepared to carry your dog, although ours surprised us a started climbing them on her own after 2 days. Location is close to beach and the pond nearby is a nice spot to walk your dog. I would recommend this apartment for a couple with children.

Perfect combo of Old School style and New School necessities -- window air conditioners work great, odd living room furniture but great TV and cable, excellent internet, well stocked kitchen, laundry very nice bathroom, sweet deck, super responsive and non-intrusive owner. Close to beach and shops. So happy we could get it for the weekend! Agree that 4 people maximum would be comfortable. Steep steps up to front door, but worth it. Would love to go back.

Small apartment as discribed. Clean and stocked with home away essentials. Read full discription from owner as this may not fit needs of some situations and owner would like very much for guests to be happy. Ocean Grove is a very lovely town and location of rental is convenient to beach. We did have issue with listing being incorrect but has since been corrected. If you are looking for sleep comfort of actual beds with boxsprings there is one queen and a twin top bunk. Owner could be reached and communicated with us during our stay. Five adults stayed for two nights worked well for a short last minute booking. If are staying for a week or more I would say two adults max and kids would be fine. I did sleep in top twin bunk bed and found it comfy, head room is limited. I would recommend to the right group of people. There was no compensation made for listing error therefore the three stars.

Great apartment - perfect for our last minute weekend trip

This 2 bedroom apartment was absolutely perfect for our stay. We made a decision to go to the shore a few days before the weekend and found this apartment still available. It's basic and not luxury, but completely fit our needs! the kitchen was fully stocked with plates, pots, pans, tupperware, etc. there is a washer/dryer combo which worked perfectly! The living room had a nice HD TV and the wifi was fast too. There were two beach chairs, a beach umbrella and boogie boards, as well as one or two beach towels, so if you need more be sure to pack those. The balcony is large and had a lot of seating and was perfect to look out on the little lake and ocean (you can see water, just not the sand). Very close to the beach. Loved it!

A quick visit to see my granddaughter

Though the place is small and could use some updating, the owner Lynn stayed in contact and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. She even offered us to stay for a late checkout with no charge.
