A wonderful long-term stay

My husband and I stayed for about six weeks in the summer to enjoy the mountains of Colorado. It's a really nice place for staying awhile -- spacious, lots of natural lighting, well-stocked kitchen, great views, and located conveniently close to the Buffalo Mountain trailhead. The owner is very responsive and helpful when there's a problem. In fact, we stayed here last year, and decided to come back because of our good experience.

Great stay and great view!

Enjoyed our visit and the wonderful views every morning. A perfect couple of days in Silverthorne. The condo is great and the view made the hike to the top floor worth it. We’d recommend this place to anyone.

A Wonderful Mountain Condo!

We stayed here for spring break and it was in a perfect location! You get the best mountain top views while still close to everything you need! It was so convenient for shopping, eating out, and skiing!! The owner is so nice and communicative for everything! Highly recommend this place!

Perfect rental! Well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and living room furniture. Excellent wifi and TV choices. But the view is the best part, overlooking the mountains and Lake Dillon. There was construction happening during our stay so it wasn’t as peaceful out there as it will be when they are finished. There are 4 floors of stairs from the carport required as there is no elevator. Great place.

Million Dollar view and very close to several trail heads. We love this condo because of its location and view. It is comfortable and you can actually use the kitchen if you cook. The Clubhouse was finally up and running this year after it was rebuilt so the hot tub and pool are great amenities after a long day of hiking. The unit is under decorated which we like because we stay for a long time and don't want to compete with decor when we are unpacking.The beds are very comfortable and the unit is clean. This trip we had some minor issues that came up and the owner was very quick to respond and fixed the problems very quickly. Check in and check out were very easy and we had lots of towels, bedding toilet paper and paper towels. We stayed for awhile so I appreciated we didn't need to buy extra. Overall, this unit is great and the owner and management are very helpful and really do care that you have a good stay with them!

Views for top floor amazing

There was no toilet paper or firewood provided. Just a thing to think about if you stay on the top floor and you have to climb 4 flights of stairs (no elevator). Elevation is difficult for breathing and keep in mind that if you are staying awhile and need to get groceries, its a task getting all the groceries up stairs due to several trips up and down :))

The elevation is certainly high here, that is true, but the views up top are incredible. -We do not provide firewood, but there are quite a few locations in the nearby area that sell it. -Perhaps it was misplaced, but we do have extra rolls of toilet paper in the hall closet and below the sink bathrooms. Better than the place we typically stay at

My husband and I always stay at Wildernest because we like to take long hikes starting right from the condo and the view is literally a million dollar view. The last place we had stayed at for several years upped their pricing and so we tried this unit and it was cleaner, had more open space to put our stuff and in general was in much better condition at a reasonable rate. We would definitely stay at this unit again! Unfortunately, Wildernest, while never exactly upscale, has declined a lot and we couldn't use the clubhouses because the pools and hot tubs were in disrepair or closed down. These issues are NOT the hosts doing or responsibility- she seems very nice, organized and is a good communicator. I mention this because after hiking, 4-6-10 hours we really would have enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. I definitely recommend this rental, the view is amazing and the location to the wilderness is perfect!

Million Dollar View

I love staying at this property. It is close to the Lilly Pad Lake trail head and several other trail heads. The view is amazing. My husband and I like to hike all day then work on our various computer projects the next day as we recover. The condo is spacious and clean. It is not overly packed with crappy nick-nacks and junk so when we move in we have room to put our stuff away and things stay uncluttered. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, which we do. Some properties have a kitchen but it doesn't have the things you need to actually cook. This is our second stay. Unfortunately the clubhouse is not functioning so no hot tub after a long hike. It's been out of commission for two years now. They are updating the condos so maybe next year? I would be sure the clubhouse is working if I had children.
