The house is amazing, it was cleaned and well stocked with linen and toiletries. The theming was awesome and the kids loved the scavenger hunt throughout the house. I would absolutely stay again.

Perfect vacation

We had the perfect Christmas vacation staying at this house! The Marvel rooms were fabulous for my superhero loving family. The owner/manager was quick to reach out and patient with me when I was slow at responding. Would highly suggest renting through him! We hope to stay again!

Excellent Stay

We had a great time at the Marvel house. It was a lot of fun, even for 2 adults, to look around the house at all of the little details. The space was great. The bed was comfy. The pool was beautiful. The movie/play space was a lot of fun.Chris was a dream to communicate with! The only thing I would change is putting some blinds or curtains in the living space. The sliding door leading to the pool is wide open with no coverage & you felt a little like you were on display. While there are no immediate neighbors behind, they are close enough to see. A little privacy, especially at night or in the morning would be nice. Otherwise, a great house! Lots of fun. Would stay again.

Highly recommend

Beautiful property that met or exceeded expectations in all aspects. The pool/spa were awesome and the theater room was a huge hit. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing enjoyable vacation home, but there are several other rental properties around, so you may have some noisier neighbors than you might prefer (as we did). That being said, would book property again.

This was probably the most beautiful house I have seen yet! The house was stunning! Super clean, very welcoming, and Chris was fantastic to work with. Loved the Place - especially the pool

Really enjoyed out stay - the property was perfect for us! Our nine year old son absolutely loved the waterfall pool, as did we. Theatre area and games room were also awesome. We do we wish there was a way to deactivite / bypass the myriad alarms to get to the pool from inside the house, as they were a little annoying at times and the one time we called the property managers to see if they could do anything, we didn't get a call-back. Other than than - perfecto all around and hope to come back!

What can I not say about this awesome property!

We loved the house. We were so sad to leave there today! The owner of the home was amazing. We had lots of communication and he welcomed us so warmly. The house was beautiful. We had 5 bedrooms and 5 baths and it gave so much room. We stayed in the pool the majority of the trip! We got it heated and it was the perfect temperature for swimming in 50 degree weather! Each room was customized to a Marvel Superhero. The decor throughout the home was beautiful and unique. We also loved the setting. The water behind the home was so picturesque. We watched Herons, birds, and ducks play. We can’t wait for another trip! Thank you Chris!

Disappointing

Main draw to this property is the pool. Heat is an additional cost that we committed to. However, when we arrived both the pool and spa were ice cold. I reached out to the owner who said it was probably just due to the weather and explained that “he can’t control Mother Nature.” Only when I followed up on the 3rd day did he finally send someone out. It turns out the heat had not been turned on making us lose 3/4s of the opportunity to enjoy it. Not only did he not offer any compensation for not being able to use the pool, I am still waiting for the reimbursement of the fees to use the clubhouse as promised. Would not have booked this home if not for the pool. House is fine 5 bedrooms, but very little common space. Not really room to congregate with others and nowhere to spread out other than individual bedrooms. Finally, the home and linens are dated and a little worn out.

Loved it!Beautiful home with quick access to nearby attractions

The home was as beautiful as described. The open floor plan was great. The outdoor area was spacious and the pool was used every time of the day. Each bedroom had a bath which was great. Kitchen and island was spacious and allowed space for multiple people to meal prep. Property had close access to grocery and stores. The only downside was the entrance to property was a horrible mess. Even after the initial sign in when we received our vehicle pass we had to wait in the same entrance line every time. During peak times we had to wait in line and for one time we had to wait in line for 2 hours to enter property due to high volumes. Entering during non peak times was good and we learned to leave and enter during those times. Just have a pass hanging in vehicle and you were waved through. Solterra should evaluate a better procedure for already approved guests and owners-who also have to wait to enter in those lines. The set up of rental and property management were all very quick to answer any questions we had. We loved this home and would rent again.

The property is great. The location was still private and away from other vacationers. The host Chris communicates and is transparent with anything that was needed. Most of everything was as described. Pros: - description was accurate and enjoyed. Loved the Marvel theme.- The pool was great especially pool toys- So much space and room for all activities- Reimbursement of resort fee was very appreciated- Kitchen was fantastic for home mealsCons:- Beds were a bit awkward. Mattress very stiff and some awkward frames stick out and cause bumps and bruises, especially at night- no safety gate around pool for children but wasn’t home a lot or was worried of child going out alone.- curtains were missing for main room that was shown in the photos for needed privacy, at night especially- new units were installed and not fully set up such as the AC was locked. But communication was awesome from Chris and Matt that helped fix the issue.All in all, 5* all the way and would hope to plan another future stay soon!

Our stay was very enjoyable! We all loved the house and especially the pool. The pool toys and added floats were a great plus that added to the pool fun. The kitchen was stocked well with what we needed to cook and enjoy the amenities of home. Plenty of towels. We all slept well and felt the beds were clean and comfortable. Chris checked in on us to make sure all was well. There were a few things that weren’t perfect but upon bringing them to his attention he was very responsive and ready to act. He was very quick to reimburse fees for the resort amenities. Overall we had a good experience and he is a great host.

Amazing

Everything was amazing at this property, my family and I enjoyed the pool and spa and the kids loved the rooms. This house is amazing for a family getaway or if you plan to visit Disney or universal studios, it’s not far from anything really, I think our longest drive was maybe 25 minutes. I definitely would recommend to other friends and family.

The S.H.I.E.L.D. Safe House was amazing. It was impeccably clean. We had every amenity we needed. The pool was very clean. There was lots of space for everyone to spread out. Family Vacation

My family enjoyed a wonderful vacation at Shield House. In the craze of Orlando fun, it was so nice to find some peace by the pool. My son even said he wanted to go back to “our house” both while we were at Disney and Discovery Cove. They loved having their own rooms and bathrooms and the pool and hot tub were LOVED by all.

As a father of two, I've always valued creating lasting memories with my children—whether it was beach getaways, Disney vacations, or weekends at the lake. As they grew, I stayed involved by coaching their sports teams and leading youth programs. One of the most impactful experiences for us was the YMCA Parent-Child Program (formerly Indian Guides and Indian Princesses), where I eventually became the head volunteer for both groups. These programs were all about building meaningful bonds through fun, shared events—a philosophy I’ve carried into my work as a short-term rental host.

In 2018, a fellow dad introduced me to the idea of owning vacation homes near Disney. After some consideration, I purchased our first property—Galaxy Beyond—and spent the first year learning the ropes. That experience sparked a new passion, and by the end of 2019, I had added a second home—Princesses Assemble. When the pandemic hit, I leaned into the opportunity and added a third property in July 2020—now known as Villa 9 ¾, inspired by Harry Potter.

In early 2021, I left my full-time job to focus entirely on short-term rentals. Our fourth home, A Villa Far, Far Away, a Star Wars-themed retreat, was a full renovation project that unlocked a creative side I didn’t know I had. Since then, I’ve continued to expand and evolve our portfolio, including the Marvel-inspired SHIELD Safe House in 2022 and the transformation of Villa 9 ¾ in 2023.

Today, my mission is simple: to create immersive, memory-filled vacation homes where families can laugh, connect, and make the kind of memories that last a lifetime—just like I’ve done with my own.
