Beautifully located on the Mangawhai Estuary, with uninterrupted views over the water, sits this classic Mangawhai holiday home!

Set right up against the edge of the estuary, you can enjoy private access via the estuary boardwalk or just sit back and relax on the spacious decks while enjoying the ever-changing view. There is easy access to a small beach with good swimming around high tide.



Ideal for families, Back Bay Beauty has three bedrooms that sleep up to 7 guests, a great place to come to and call home the next time you and the family are planning a little getaway.



Back Bay Beauty comes equipped with the essentials for easy summer holiday living, including a BBQ and outdoor dining area for those al fresco meals in the warm summer evenings. A kayak and dinghy are available to explore the estuary, and there is an outdoor shower to wash off the sand and surf after a day on the surf beach!



Or if you're planning a winter stay, snuggle up in the comfy lounge area in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine.



If you feel like stretching your legs you can walk to the village shops, cafes and markets, otherwise it is only a couple of minutes drive. Mangawhai Surf Beach, walking tracks and vineyards are less than a 10 minute drive away or check out Te Arai, Forestry, Langs and Waipu Cove for other great beach options nearby.

This property is within a gated community which gives privacy and a safe internal driveway. Please respect the neighbours who also enjoy their seclusion.

As there is unfenced access to the estuary and mangroves at the rear of the property, adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water. **The slide is no longer available**

LINEN: Please note that other than pillows, duvets and duvet covers, linen is not included in the tariffs but can be rented for $25 per person, further details are provided in the 'Rooms and beds' section of the listing. If you wish to add linen, please add a note to your booking with what beds you wish to use so they can be made up. We have linen as an optional extra to make a more affordable holiday for those who wish to bring their own.

BOOKING PAYMENT: Although Bookabach/VRBO take your credit card details, all booking payments are made to Bach Stay NZ Limited who manage this property for the owners. Once your booking is approved, we will send you a payment email with a choice of credit card payment (a 3% surcharge applies) or bank transfer (no charges). Please note the amount stated as 'Deposit Paid at Property' on the Bookabach/VRBO quote is actually a refundable bond that will be collected as part of the accommodation payment, it is not collected at the property as the wording suggests.
