Vitamin Sea - Quirky holiday home in bush setting with views, walk to the estuary and surf beach

If you're feeling like it's time for a break, then maybe you should take a dose of Vitamin Sea.
Situated on a lovely bush fringed, sunny section, this barn-style holiday home has the basic comforts and enjoys a pleasant outlook over the surrounding bush to the sand spit and ocean beyond. The house is a brief stroll to the calm, sandy estuary beach at the end of Pearl St, or walk a couple of minutes further to the stunning surf beach and avoid the summer traffic jams at the carpark.
The main house has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with separate toilet, and the upstairs landing between the rooms also has a single bed. For larger groups (over 6 people) there is a sleepout which sleeps up to an additional 4 people and it has its own bathroom.
Great for a couple of families and in a very desirable location at an affordable price, it is a great spot for your next Magical Mangawhai holiday. Go on get yourself a dose of Vitamin Sea.
Please note that parking is limited to 2-3 cars and it is not suitable for a boat or trailer.
LINEN OPTIONS: To keep your holiday more affordable, for this property we offer linen as an optional extra for guests who prefer to bring their own. If you choose to bring your own linen, you will need to supply top and bottom sheets, pillowcases, towels and bath mats. Pillows, Duvets and Duvet covers will be provided.
Alternatively, a rental linen package is available for $25 per person. To request this service, please add a note to your booking specifying the number of people requiring linen and which beds you would like prepared.

We had a great stay at this bach. Perfect fit for our group of parents, teens and doggo. Open plan and flexible areas worked really well. It had everything we needed at the bach, nothing too fancy so you dont have to panic about the kids damaging anything. excellent location, walking distance to both estuary and surf beaches. Nice and private feel to it with bush surrounding but not shading the house. Would definitely stay here again. Beautiful sunrise views and birdsong.

We really enjoyed out stay at 8 Claude Road - once we managed to find it! Great location. Handy to everything that one would need/want over the holiday period especially for a larger family group. Very well appointed inside. Highly recommended and we are very likely to be back.

Property has what you need but the views are the real hit with this house. Great little walk to the beach House definitely needs some updating as it's a bit old now, sofas etc would be nice to have some comfier options but overall a good experience

Such a good space.

Loved our stay, 3 big comfortable beds were a real bonus (1 soft, 2 firm), as were the much used guitar and keyboard, and the lovely fire place - the sun disappeared over the hill by 2pm (a small axe for kindling would be great). We even had some beautiful mid winter swims in the sea with the sun shining. Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay in your cozy home away from home.

Lovely Kiwi Bach within walking distance to Esturary & Beach

Property does need some maintance and attention. Outdoor chairs dangerous to sit on however overall the bach is great. We were a family of 8 and the bach accommodated all of us. Lovely view and an easy walk down to the water. Very reasonable rates for the time of year we were there. Would recommend especially if maintance attended to.

1970's revisited.

The listing makes it clear this is not a high end bach and it's not but, it lovely. Old, lived in and comfy bit like staying with your gran. We spent 2 nights "mini break" here with our dog walked the beach, went to the local bar, watched the sun rise/set from the deck.....perfect chill will go back.

Vitamin Sea

Love the property - light, airy and thoroughly relaxing. The back neighbour is closer than expected, and the house hadn't been cleaned in the corners for a while, but neither of the above would stop me coming back again.
