Enjoy beautiful panoramic ocean views from the sun-drenched front deck, the spacious living room and master bedroom, with the beach just across the road for all year-round access.

The spacious open plan living, and dining room provide in the perfect place for unwinding from everyday life. Watch your favorites on the Smart TV (in either living room) and enjoy complimentary WiFi. Let the kids give you space with the multiple areas they can hang out in from watching TV in the second living room, playing ping pong the rumpus/garage or enjoying the sun in the back yard.

The side deck provides wind shelter so you can still enjoy a meal outdoors and BBQ with friends. Roomie fully fenced back yard with large deck and outdoor shower to rinse the sand off after a dip in the sea. There is loads of storage for your kayaks, bikes, scooters or other outdoor toys in the 4-car garage. With the beach directly across the road this holiday home offers the absolute best in indoor-outdoor living.

Wheelchair access is available - please request elevator access when placing your booking.

Front of area the house (master bedroom & ensuite, living room & kitchen) can be closed off with large (rolling) doors if you are a couple or small group wanting a more enclosed intimate space.

Magnificent Place to stay

A very beautiful large comfortable home right on the beach front looking out to Kapiti Island with all the mod cons and sunsets while relaxing on the deck and a great swimming beach. We so very much enjoyed our stay & Hamish was so helpful our adult family visited while we were there which was very special. Thank you so much Hamish.

Fantastic Location

Spacious, generally well equipped property. Easy to entertain, have guests around with a nice back yard and great views. Games room was a pleasant surprise and lots of parking.

Beautiful Home

We were a group of 12 of varying ages visiting for a week for a wedding. This property exceeded our expectations. Lots of space to spread out and relax and entertain, house well appointed, fabulous sunset views, well located near shops, kids loved the beach and nearby parks, adults loved the games room. Host was very responsive to any issues that cropped up. Highly recommend.

Far from perfect

While the house itself is large and comfortable, it was not as clean as it should have been. The owner blamed the previous rental group and the lack of time to clean it for us. Poor excuse, in my opinion. We found ants in the garage/playroom, towels hanging on a drying rack in the hallway, a dirty oven and full recycle bins so we had nowhere to put our recyclables. Also, without any notice from the owner, four mattresses were delivered while we were having dinner one night. The owner responded to our calls and agreed to compensate us for these inconveniences, but so far there has been no further communication from him. I hope he wlll honor his word.

Beautiful holiday home

We were a group of 10 and stayed for two nights. Hamish’s home is perfect for a holiday by the beach. Spacious, modern and beaut sunset views from the deck. It had all the bells and whistles featuring a huge tv!! Highly recommend!

The house had been my wife’s dream home, but she unfortunately only got to spend
a month here before she lost her battle with cancer. This is why you will notice a
photos board in the lounge :)
We have decided to rent it for short term stays to keep it in the family, since this
property is new please reach out if there is anything missing or we can improve on.
