This truly unique property rests at 3,000 feet elevation and literally makes you feel you are in the sky! Brand new construction offers rustic luxury throughout, combining the old with the new creating a log cabin feel that will surely provide you and your guests a true mountain experience.

The soaring views from the wrap around deck make it worth the trip up the mountain, yet just 15 minutes to downtown brings you all of the conveniences of picturesque Bryson City (boutique and antique shopping, train, sightseeing, amazing restaurants) as well as all of the adventure the mountains have to offer (Rafting, tubing, mountain biking, horseback riding, kayaking, hiking, boating) to name a few.

Planning a couples retreat or family time? At just under 2,000 square feet, Blue Ridge Skylodge is cozy and intimate, yet hosts 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths (with extra sleeping in the loft and home office) for ample accommodations. There are multiple conversation areas for guests to spread out and relax making it perfect for either just the two of you, a small group of friends, or the entire entourage.

Extend your vacation knowing you can take care of business if need be in the home office. Just bring your laptop and enjoy the convenience of strong wifi, printing, and scanning; you won’t miss a beat. Skylodge is pet friendly with a non-refundable pet fee. Four wheel drive is strongly recommended due to narrow, steep, gravel mountain roads and elevation of property.

Unbelievable views

Couldn't have picked a better place to stay! The views alone are worth it but the cabin is beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed how secluded and quiet it was as well. Typically Our vacations are spent exploring but we enjoyed staying in!

Great cabin with stunning Mountain View’s. Driveway definitely requires FWD and suggest arriving during the daytime. Kitchen is well equipped with cooking essentials!

Amazing views, great house

This home is wonderful! The views are incredible and the location is perfect. Close to necessities but far enough away to feel remote. The property manager is very responsive, also. There was an issue with the gas supply and it was promptly corrected the next day. We will definitely be back!

Amazing view

An amazing cabin near top of mountain with incredible view. We loved the wrap around porch, hot tub and fire pit. We spent a lot of time sitting outside and enjoying the view. It's very private but a short drive to Bryson city for shopping and white water rafting is close also. We had 4 wheel drive and our daughter made it up to cabin in AWD with no problem. It's beautifully furnished also.

We loved the covered portion where you could get away from the sun and the rain. We sat out there every night. Also loved the gas firepit option. We stayed with our niece and nephew so it worked out well with the primary bedroom on the 1st floor and the loft and additional bedrooms upstairs so that they could have their own space. Directions provided ahead of time were perfectly detailed and easy to follow. Would definitely stay again.

This house has the most spectacular views! The driveway was little scary going up the first time but you get used to it, our cars were AWD and we made it up fine. The house was very clean and well stocked when we arrived. We enjoyed sitting out of the deck every day looking at the mountains. In the evening the fire pit was perfect for watching beautiful sunsets.

This property and view are amazing. Looks like a painting every hour of every day. Follow the directions in communication from owner. GPS will try to take you to a different mountain!

Unbelievable Views!

Our stay was nothing short of amazing! The views are impeccable! The drive up the mountain was 3/4 easy until the last curve up there. 4x4 is an absolute MUST! The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were comfy, and the outdoor patio was divine! The only thing I could suggest that would have made my stay top notch would have been a pair of terry cloth robes. It was chilly in the morning sitting outside while drinking coffee. If you’re looking for a place to unplug and relax with million dollar views, look no further!!

The views are simply amazing, especially the sunsets. Promise that the views will never be obstructed,we spent plenty of time on the deck looking at the views and at night weused the fire pit, which was an added bonus. I definitely going to remember this cabin. The only complaint my mama had there was no tv in the main part so she couldnt watch the tv while she was sitting with us.Thank you so much for the memories we made here!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view is nice. We were here 6 nights. Our rented Nissan rogue made it up the mountain just fine. The first thing I noticed was no clothes hangers which was weird. I had to ho buy 4 packs so hopefully they are still there for future guest. The propane tank was empty for fire table outside so that was disappointing. The upstairs mattress was terrible, very worn out or cheap. My son and his wife slept on the sofa the bed was so bad. But the worst thing was waking up on our last day to no water. I called and was told someone would be out. But never happened, as it turns out the cabin has water storage in a tank and it ran out. I would have never rented if that had been disclosed. I thought it was on spring or community well as other cabins have stayed at. That will be a question I will definitely ask next time. It was terrible getting ready with only a handful of bottled water and 4 adults.
