Our cabin was spotless and private. It was homey and accommodating. We loved our stay and we found the owner to be kind and conscientious. We had a wonderful stay!
This property was picture-perfect and completely as advertised! The owner was fantatsically helpful and friendly, really made our stay! We used it as a base to visit the local areas and wish we would've had many more days to enjoy! Already planning to return!

Spectacular Get Away
We had such a great time. Did nothing but relax, unwind, and enjoy the beautiful woods. The owner (George) is one of the nicest people you could ever want to meet. We will definitely go back for our 3rd trip there this year! ❤️
This quaint little cabin was perfect for our needs and the two of us. We were in the area to attend the NASCAR night races at Bristol. The farm is beautiful and we loved seeing the horses. Best of all we had a wonderful visit with the owners, Joe and Beth, that included several special treats. They are great hosts and very attentive to any needs of their quests. We would definitely return again.

You were delightful guests and we would love to have you back anytime!
Super clean cabin. This has been the cleanest cabin we've stayed at. It was the perfect size. Bed was very comfy. This cabin has everything you need. Hosts were very communicative and making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Time was just too short.
We stayed at George and Beth's horse farm in doe valley because it was far away but not too far away. It's an hour from grandfather mountain which we made a couple day trips to. The cabin sits up on a hill of the property secluded in the trees. Its exactly what you would want in a cabin. My small family would love to return their again one day. If you want a relaxing getaway with attentive hosts to every need then this is the spot.

Thank you Kevin we loved having you and your family you are welcome anytime!
Our hosts Beth and George were amazing. Very down to earth, hospitable and fun folks! They went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure we were comfortable and settled in.
The cabin was great. It comes with most everything you’ll need, it was clean and well maintained. Outside the views and trails are awesome, the fresh morning air, the privacy and the peace and quite was everything you’d get away from the city to experience. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Cross Creek Ranch. Would definitely recommend and will be back ourselves God willing!
Call first! They double booked and failed to mention until we were 11 hours away from home.
My wife and I hadn’t had a vacation in over 5 years together so we booked this beautiful cabin, paid for it ahead of time, and booked it well in advance. The instructions were that the homeowner would give us the door code the day of check in. We drove 11 hours from home and hadn’t heard from the homeowner so we decided to call. They had no idea we had even booked our stay and already had guests checked in. In their defense, they did offer to let us stay in their personal home on the property to make up for the mistake, however this was a romantic vacation to ourselves. The only remedy that was offered to us was to cancel our reservation and refund our money, with us stranded 11 hours away from home. This was New Years weekend so there was NOTHING else available besides motels and hotels. The homeowners were very sweet in offering us the first floor of their personal home but this is 2022, double bookings should not happen and rather than trying to make it right, they simply cancelled our reservation and refunded our money.
My husband and I stayed in this cabin on our honeymoon. The hosts were more than generous with their time and property. The cabin looked brand new on the inside and was perfectly cozy for a party of 2!
Beautiful little cabin tucked away at the back of a well manicured horse ranch with a lovely entrance with well lit roads, a large deck overlooking a pretty river and acres of mountain paths to explore. So much to do in the area that you don’t have time to do everything! Lovely people own this place and will make your stay quite enjoyable!
We escaped to the cabin for a three day weekend. We enjoyed the cabin in the woods and will return later. George and Beth had everything ready for us and were very responsive to us during the stay. We will be back!
My wife and I had a relaxing weekend exploring the area and enjoying the cabin after we moved our daughter in for her freshman year if college! Loved seeing the horses and river on the property! Thank you so much!
Only 2 guest houses (separated from each other) on 77 acres, a good of which borders national forests. A few beautiful pastures with horses. The rest is full of open trails. Peaceful, quiet, private. Yet 5-15 minutes from excellent restaurants one might not expect is this unspoiled valley. In fact, if you want to eat at La Cucina (and you DO want to eat there), you will need reservations al long as 4 weeks in advance. I extended my stay and will be back. Elevation and cabin location in the woods is just enough to knock the heat off compared to many areas.
Beth and George were excellent hosts that went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay!

Thank you so much for coming to Cross Creek Ranch! Hope you enjoy your vacation with your family this week. We all did the Virginia creeper trail yesterday it was a real success with all 15 of us!
I can not say enough good things about this retreat in the woods! This was the perfect romantic getaway! The cabin was perfect, completely private set back in the woods and it had everything we needed! George and Beth were wonderful hosts! George was quick to respond with any questions and gave us a wonderful welcome to the property! They made sure we knew lots of things that we could do around the area of the cabin! This is a little slice of heaven! If you are looking for a quiet getaway look no further! This is the place you want to be! We can’t wait to come back and visit again!
My husband and I came across this cute cabin while randomly looking to see what we might want to do. Once we booked our trip our hosts George and Beth were wonderful they were so warm and welcoming to us from the beginning of our plans, We booked our stay a little over a month in advance and they kept a great communication with us insuring that we knew what the area had to offer so we could make the best out of our trip! Once we arrived we were so excited to see the cabin is accurate to the description! The cabin is located in a cute town with plenty of trails waterfalls and water activities! 10/10 recommend this location if you’re looking to take a break from the city life and escape relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings! You’ll get everything you expected and more at cross creek ranch!
