We spent two nights while attending a family wedding in the area. The cabin was beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean. I appreciated the host’s attention to detail and can’t think of anything I would suggest to make it better. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area again!

Hi Kevin, thank you again for choosing to stay at our cabin! The pollen count has been high recently, which is a great phenomenon that helps our plants thrive and grow. I can confirm that our cleaners address the pollen during their clean. However, it can accumulate quickly during certain times of the year. With regard to lighting, the cabin is equipped with an outdoor light at entry, outdoor lighting on the covered porch, and interior lighting throughout the cabin. We are advertised as a nature retreat so spotlights, harsh lighting, or over lighting will not be present. Take care!

Beautiful woodland stay

My partner and I absolutely adored this cabin. It's the most perfect couples retreat!Being immersed in the national forest on the beautiful Watauga lake was exactly what we were looking for.The cabin itself was lovely and spotless clean.We would absolutely stay here again!
