Excellent Lakeside Cottage

Amazing location, with a great view. Plenty of space, extra towels and linens, and kitchen inventory. Its a great place to unwind with just your partner, with some friends, or with the whole family.

This rustic cottage is adorable and the views of the lake are amazing. It's in a great secluded spot with beautiful lake frontage. We barely saw anyone else the whole time we were there, so if you're looking for some peace and quiet, this is it.

June beach trip

This was a very comfortable house, stocked with lots of linens and necessities (soap, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning products). We enjoyed the beach, even in the rain! The beach is layered with interesting fossils and shells, and the water was clear! The owner and manager were very quick to respond when my family locked the house doors with the house key inside. The owners had 2 backup plans in place to solve our issue. I'm very happy with our stay!

An absolute 10/10!

My family and I (6 adults, 1 child) absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful lakefront home. 2/3 bedrooms have a lake view and the 3rd has a beautiful forest view. If you are unfamiliar with the area like we were, you will be in awe by the many colors of the lake throughout the morning, afternoon and evening. The many shades in the sunny hours have you comparing it to the vibrant colors found in the Caribbean while the sunset was nothing short of pink, Cotton candy looking skies. The beach is both sandy and naturally rocky. It was extremely private as well; we didn’t encounter any neighbors on the beach. It’s the best of both worlds: the woods and the beach all in one. The house was very cozy and has an overall positive, family oriented vibe. Leelanau State Park is only 7 min away with beautiful views and hiking. The small town has a couple of cute restaurants and a grocery store. If you are a nature lover like myself, I genuinely can’t recommend this enough!

Beautiful Cottage in a Beautiful Setting

Wonderful stay with family to celebrate a 70th Birthday. The cottage and the setting are absolutely beautiful. Many walks on the beach we’re had by all. Sleeping accommodations were great and we were able to bring our dogs.
