Central location, great for kids & the puppy

Good traditional bach accommodation. Very centrally located in Akaroa, not the quietest spot but handy to beach, playground and skate park. Great we could bring our 7 month old fox terrier pup, the property is well fenced for him to stay safe. Master bedroom is only a double, kids room is well set up with bunks and single. Had all the amenities for cooking and laundry (no dishwasher) and both Sky and Netflix which helped pass the day the southerly rolled through. Great fire, good outdoor seating, would recommend.

Hope you like spiders!

Property was “clean”, but was just let down by the daddy long legs spiders which were prevalent around all the cornices in 3 rooms… had to remove 15 in total before my child felt like she could stay the due to arachnophobia. Ended up leaving a day early as my child felt like the spiders would come back. It just ruined it for us. Also let down by general maintenance. The first night the batteries in one of the smoke detectors started failing at 1 am in the morning and beeping every 2 mins, had to pull smoke detectors off and remove the battery. Thought smoke detectors are meant to be hard wired, not just battery only in rental properties??
