About this property
The Treehut: perched in the Bush with bird song
Perched in the bush and only 30 meters from the sea, this cosy split-level house offers a peaceful relaxing setting, complemented by a large deck and a great view. This property is an original bach and offers great value and a simple holiday experience.
The Treehut is elevated and NOT suitable for under 6's and with the elevated steps leading up to the deck probably could be to much for anyone over 70yrs old and any lower body disabilities.
Its a bach that has been in the family for a number of years.
Really suitable for the adventurous.
The home is 70's bach but with some modern takes.
Any questions call Tracey 0274209650 for help.

Tourist activities include both dolphin watching and swimming with dolphins, guided kayaking, fishing and swimming, hiking, walks and a relaxed village around which you can just stroll and enjoy the views, the people, the atmosphere...
15 min stroll into the heart of Akaroa. The walk is along the water front and past the famous light house.
Situated at The Glen you are also removed from hassle and bussel of the holiday madness to the quiet of nature and the sound of water and the tuis.
The village also boasts a decent sized supermarket, many cafes, and a host of wonderful restaurants. The safe bay also offer great walks and hikes, along with boutique shopping, galleries, wineries and the famous Barry Point cheese factory.
Akaroa is 1,5 hours from Christchurch city, and has a regular mini-bus service operating between Christchurch City, and both the International and Domestic airports if you’re arriving from another city.
Special conditions:
Parking for 2 cars.
Access is via a steep but short path up to house from car park
Sorry no TV here. Wifi is present.
Extras: NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels); You can hire them thru the property manager and this payment is away from the site.
