Loved staying at this property, the outdoor living area is spectaclar and would be an ideal place for a getaway for a young family or a couple of girl friends. Its a short drive or long walk into town which makes it nice and quiet.
Beautiful accommodation. Very comfortable, clean and spacious, with lovely decor. Thoughtful hosts with cold water, milk, butter and juice available on arrival, as well as lots of bits and pieces in the kitchen that we wouldn't have thought to pack. We loved jumping into the pool on the hot day! Would definitely recommend.
The photos do not do the house justice. Absolutely gorgeous garden and surrounds. Impeccably clean and lovely touches made this a wonderful stay. Could not fault it and would be happy to stay again.
Perfect getaway, it really is a hidden gem. Location was perfect close to town and to wineries and restaurants. Very happy with all the amenities. Hosts were very accommodating and we had everything we needed if not more. We sure would book again next time come to MudgeeThank you for a pleasant stay.
The check in was easy and the place was amazing. Lots of room and great kitchen facilities. The back deck and pool area was very private and a great place to relax.

The hosts did such a good job providing so many amenities (toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, spreads, cheese & bickies etc).
The beds were SO comfy! The house was so warm and cozy. Excellent communication from hosts. Loved it and would definitely return.
We only stayed the one night, but it was great!
Extremely good service, nice things for breakfast, really beautiful outdoor surrounds around the outdoor pool!
We will gladly stay again, another time.

We had a wonderful time and the property was immaculate. We had everything that we needed and we very much appreciated the grocery items and bottle of wine waiting for us, not to mention the fabulous pool and airconditioning on a hot summer's day. Thank you Louisa & Craig.
Helpful friendly hosts have created a wonderful home away from home. This is a home that says RELAX! And we did. Loved the covered sunny deck for afternoon reading and early evening refreshments watching the sun set. Warm comfortable rooms. Plenty of heat for colder Mudgee mornings and nights. More than enough! We were wonderfully toasty. And a fabulous French bakery just down the road for warm baked goods as treats. Location is close enough to town but just far enough away for peace and quiet. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
We honestly could not fault 270 on Church. From the moment we arrived, everything felt thoughtful, welcoming and exceptionally well cared for. The hosts had stocked not only the basics but also a generous range of extra pantry items – fresh bread, milk, spreads, juice, breakfast cereals and crackers – which was such a lovely and unexpected touch.The kitchen was wonderfully equipped, including a coffee machine with an assortment of coffee pods, ground coffee, and a wide variety of teas, which made mornings an absolute pleasure.The property itself was immaculate. The garden was beautifully maintained, the lawn absolutely pristine, and the swimming pool was amazing — sparkling clean and a real highlight of our stay. It was clear a lot of pride and care goes into maintaining both the home and outdoor spaces.One of the standout features was the incredible collection of books. There was something for everyone: cookbooks, history, gardening, encyclopedias, novels and autobiographies. In addition, there were plenty of kids’ board games available, which kept the children happily entertained.The hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating and were a pleasure to deal with. A perfect base for enjoying Mudgee, and a place we would happily return to without hesitation. Highly recommend. Will definitely be checking in here again in the future.
270 On Church in Mudgee is the most beautiful B&B we have stayed in.
Check in was straight forward and off street parking was a bonus.
True to the photos of the property, the finishes and decor were simply beautiful. We particularly loved the inside/outside feel due to the expansive windows revealing the lush peaceful garden. The property had everything you could possibly need with a lot of style. All three beds were extremely comfortable and the ducted air conditioning made it very cozy.
Due to family reasons we unfortunately had to cut our stay short. Craig and Louisa were such lovely hosts and when we return to Mudgee we look forward to staying there again.

Sadly our first night was spoilt by the air conditioning being unable to cope with very cold temperatures (around zero degrees). During the night the aircon kept cutting out after half an hour.
The host did provide a couple of heaters for the next night, so we could sleep ok, but the living area was still too cold for us in the morning.
Very disappointing because everything else was five star.

John, I am sorry to hear you felt cold during your recent stay. An half hour analysis of the power consumption during your stay confirms the heating was working. In fact the consumption doubled and even tripled once I provided extra heaters to you. Everyone knows Mudgee can be cold in winter. I went beyond to help you keep warm but apparently that wasn't good enough for you. You had twice as much heating as other guests and you still complain. Your review is cold.
This property is absolutely perfect, it is stocked with everything you can think of and then some. We only used 1 of the 3 bedrooms and the bed was comfortable and the property was very clean. I wish we had booked longer and the weather was warmer so we could use the pool. I can not fault this property and highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Mudgee. The owners responded quickly and were helpful if I needed anything, we had a wonderful stay.
Craig and Louisa are the quintessential perfect hosts, warmly welcomed us when we bumped into them on the first day at arrival and gave us our full privacy afterwards.
The home is excellently furnished, spotlessly clean and we wanted for nothing. Attention to detail is outstanding and it is perfectly placed from the centre of town.
