Wonderful Stay

Great stay and wonderful amenities. Quiet, close to highway, great area and very easy to go to Halifax and further south plus the eastern shore. Paul & MJ were fabulous hosts and very responsive to any of our questions or requests. Loved the farm fresh eggs, bunnies and Zoe ! Thank you so much for a great stay.

Excellent property

We stayed at this property from end Dec to early Jan 2023. The property is as described and we were happy with the owner and his family. They were kind, courteous and very helpful. They have a small farm and the fresh eggs were very much appreciated. The rooms were well laid out and very clean. We would definitely recommend this place and we have full intentions of staying there again on our next visit.

The property is well maintained and beautiful. A screen sitting area outside overlooks the back yard with a beautiful view. We saw some wild peasants/grouse Walking around. A little walk takes you to back of the property with has a river. The unit itself is a wall out basement unit, very nice. Especially nice was the farm fresh eggs in the fridge.

We love our home and property. We are close to the city for shopping and fine dining but yet all the beautiful pleasures of being outside of the city with many nearby beaches for swimming, kayaking, boating and surfing! There are many hiking trails to enjoy for all levels of fitness and there are so many beautiful views to see. Local dining sites to try would include our favourite Lupin Dining & Pantry as they prepare meals from local farms/sea/gardens to table. Farmers Market occurs every Sunday. Come and relax in a home away from home!
