Awesome place to stay
We loved the A Frame in Butternut. It was set up a hill away from the road which was perfect for our family. You could still see the lake from the house and it was a short walk away. We loved that behind the house was secluded woods that we could enjoy as well! The house itself was perfect and family friendly!
Stayed for a week in this lovely home. Description is very accurate and the place was very comfortable. Nice and quiet location, recommend dinner at Bobber’s down the road.

Great Stay
Cabin was well equipped, clean, and cozy. Bed in main bedroom is super comfortable. Would love to stay again.
Loved our stay! The cabin was beautiful, clean and spacious with all amenities you could need. It felt secluded even with having neighbors below. Would definitely stay here again!
We really enjoyed the property. It was very quiet & secluded. Also, it was a very nice place! Only downfall for us was it was not right on the lake. We saw alot of deer while we were there. Fishing was slow, but overall it was great time!!

Nice place but driveway wasn't plowed never got a response back about having our trailer stuck in the driveway
We had a great stay. Plenty of room and everything you needed it has. It's not right on the lake but has frontage. Nextdoor is a bar/restaurant which is nice too. Good price. Thank you.
From balcony we had prefect show of whitetail deer grazing in grass right in front of us both days. House has three levels with beds on all three levels.
We hiked Copper Falls state park which is easy 30 minute drive from Butternut. Camp fire on site both nights (yes Smores were had by all.) House was clean and cozy. Enjoyed a great summer weekend get away!
Perfect home for our family stay. Tons of space. Lower level added so much room for the kids. Couple areas needed attention, we dealt with a very, very slow draining tub. There was a note about it so we were warned. The light fixture in the loft, being vintage and cute desperately needs dusting. It also flickers. Liked that the home was removed from the main road and gave privacy. Would definitely stay again.
We loved the cabin: clean, new comfy furniture, lots of storage, a/c worked great, loved the woods, close to town!
We were a bit disappointed that you cannot see the lake from the cabin and that there was another property and a road in between the cabin & the lake. The separate lakefront portion of their land was great, loved the picnic table and shed down there! Not really swimmable from the short dock but there were a couple of sand bars in the lake that we took the boat to and swam off of!
Great cabin, great lake, great host, just wish it was known that we couldn't see the lake from the cabin ahead of time.
