Beach Captain- Meredith Lodging

Prepare for a restful stay in quiet Neskowin at the Beach Captain, a recently remodeled condo located at Proposal Rock Inn and situated on the bank of Hawk Creek and steps from the Hawk Creek Café, Neskowin’s favorite spot for dining. This unit is on the ground floor and has wheelchair parking and access within 20 feet of the unit. The contemporary furnishings and amenity-filled space will bring you everything you need for a comfortable stay, and you’ll love lounging on the creek-side deck watching birds and the tide come and go. A sneak peek at the ocean, Pacific breezes, and gorgeous light make this a wonderful place to relax. The living room features a large flat-screen TV and fireplace, plus a bistro table for enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. A dining table and a fully equipped kitchen give you plenty of dining options. A Murphy bed folds up into the wall for extra guest quarters, and a bedroom with a TV, assures privacy. Two full bathrooms make Beach Captain an easy spot to vacation with another couple. You’ll be close to a general store and deli, the Café, a golf course, and a path along the creek to the splendid beach at Neskowin, punctuated by the tree-bedecked Proposal Rock. It’s an easy drive to Pacific City’s Haystack Rock, the Pelican Pub, and Meridian Restaurant, plus delightful beach walking at Bob Straub State Park. To the south, Lincoln City’s many activities are ten minutes away. You’ll love staying in this secluded village at the end of the day. The condo was well situated with access to the beach and food amenities.. didn't have to cook. Decor was spot on. More than enough towels, wide variety of dining and kitchen paraphernalia. Would definitely return.

Sweet location with the creek and the ice view. The description did not do it justice. We were able to grab coffee, wine and pastries at the Neskowin provisions, dinner at the Hawk grill, walked to the wildlife sanctuary and the proposal rock. Will be back!

The view from the living room window and balcony is beautiful. Fireplace was warm and inviting, and no wood needed or messy ash. The murphy bed was very easy to lower and raise and kitchen had everything we needed. Neskowin store, beach and restaurant are all within close walking distance. We would love to stay in the same unit again soon!

This was a slightly different type of condo. Looks like a hotel turned condo. I liked that it was so close to the beach although only partial view. Still, the trail was great as was the restaurant.

Condo was clean, it had a dog bowl for our dog and beds were comfy. I wish I would have found the water hose/sprayer by the BBQ sooner to spray off sand from our granddaughter before coming into the condo. We only heard the neighbors a couple of times and liked being on the first floor.

Gorgeous Views of the Ocean

We had such a great time in this beautifully decorated condo with stunning views of the ocean. Our stay was so relaxing, it was quiet and we played games, walked the beach and ate at the nearby restaurant. The cafe was perfect for breakfast items and coffee.

Just what was needed

Quiet and fun

Great quiet location, clean well laid out condo, and it had everything we needed for our trip. The only problem I had was the master bed was pretty soft and hard for my wife and I to sleep on...other than that we had a great time.
