Very good

For the most part the stay was good. The kitchen was missing key things - kettle, baking sheets, dish cloths and drying towels and the door wouldn't lock for me throughout the stay. The space is a bit old and does need a deep clean but it was spacious and in a great location!

A Bit Different than Expected
Property is not as comfortable as hoped with a yappy dog next door. Owner never responded to email question. There were many supplies and snacks. Never did get tv to work or WiFi. View was nice.

Nice View but Funky Noisy House
Good:
Fantastic view of Birch Bay.
Bad:
Major mildew problem in main bedroom.
Lots of pickup truck noise as they accelerate from the very nearby 4 way stop. It was so bad that we wore headphones often.
Shower floor flexes and is not very safe.
Some of the floors are not level to the point that you can lose your balance if not careful.
We would never stay here again.

Hi Edward, we're glad you enjoyed the view! We take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: We're sorry to hear that you did not have the five-star experience we endeavor to provide our guests. We have high standards of hospitality and take pride in ensuring the home is serviced professionally before each guest. In regards to the noise, we're sorry but unfortunately, we have no control over it. The safety of our guests is a top priority. To ensure efficiency, the property had an inspection completed by a professional house inspector, and no mildew or concerns on the shower floor were reported or instated on the inspection report. We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
Do not rent this property! It is a tear down property
This was possibly the worst place I have ever stayed - the house is on a tilt and sinking on the left side so we had to sleep turned around with our heads at the foot of the bed, the railing on the deck is ready to fall off as is the deck, the bathroom floor is rotten under the toilet and front of shower, there is a dog next door that barks incessantly and the fridge and some kitchen areas were filthy - not to mention the property manger ignored my calls and I had to call direct to Evolve - terrible terrible place - don’t let the pic of the beautiful view fool you - there is an ugly old trailer park right below as well so you look down on two rotten roofs if you dare step on out on the rotten deck - hope the place gets condemned before someone gets hurt

This was like a home away from home. From the sun room in the entry where we ate are meals to the living room and the deck in the front with an amazing view of Birch Bay we enjoyed our stay. By adding a full bed or bunkbeds in the smaller bedroom more people could stay.
Can’t believe they had no screens on any of the windows or the sliding glass door but other than that the place was a little small would’ve been nice to have a little bigger bed need better blinds for the window the sun came up pretty early and it was pretty Bright before 6 AM in the morning The view was fantastic if you do not look down at the trailer park location was wonderful Birchbay right down the street Canadian border less than 10 minutes away already trying to plan my next trip up to the Pacific Northwest will definitely stay here again and again and again
