About this property
Heritage Cottage with Hot Tub in Wine Country
Summary:
Addisons Stanthorpe is a heritage 120yr old cottage and is a short walk from the heart of the township of Stanthorpe and a short drive to QLDs premier wine district, national parks and wedding venues . Your accomodation is a beautifully renovated 3 bedroom 2 bathroom Queenslander with modern kitchen with Smeg oven/cooker, Smeg pod machine, dishwasher and modern bathrooms. The home is adorned with a selection of local art and original scenic artwork by renowned Scottish artist Alan Sutherland.
The Space:
Addisons Stanthorpe is a circa 1800's heritage Queenslander with charming front veranda overlooking the cottage garden, and views towards the township and gorgeous afternoon sunsets. A rear entertaining patio allows you to enjoy the morning sun with a hot coffee or to escape the summer heat and soak in the view of Mt Marley. Why not light a fire at the fire pit on the lower level of the patio, roasting marshmallows and enjoy the cool air while you enjoy a wonderful local red. Air-conditioned for those rare hot days and a beautiful original brick mantle wood fireplace to warm on those chilly winter nights, who wouldn't want to curl up in front of the fire with a delectable cheese platter and the spoils of your day exploring. The kitchen has modern appliances with SMEG oven/cooker and a Lavazza SMEG coffee maker. Each bedroom has its own walk in robe, the master is equipped with an ensuite and there is a workspace for those guests that need to bring work with them. The house is equipped with a BBQ on the rear patio, an outdoor fire pit, book, video, wii and board games .
We use hotel quality linen through a professional laundering service, all bedding, bath towels/mats, tea towels etc. are provided and included in the cleaning fee.

In Stanthorpe’s main CBD, you will discover an amazing range of cafés, shops, gift stores and an art gallery. Enjoy our European traditions; sit and relax in the Stanthorpe Piazza, with boutique coffee in hand, under the famous Roll Up Tree public art piece and watch the world go by.

About the host
Hosted by Simone and Antony Burley

Antony and I live between Brisbane, Stanthorpe and Montville and moved to the beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland as we love both the beaches and the rainforest and this gives us the best of both worlds. I love traveling when work permits and am a tennis fan and follow the tennis circuit in the Aussie summer. My motto in life is... yesterday is the past tomorrow is the future and today is a gift thats why it is called the present
