We enjoyed getting away to this house for a few days. It was open, clean, relaxing and the kitchen was great to cook in. We enjoyed using the fire pit to make s’mores and the hot tub was great. It’s a short drive to Bryson City, where we went on the polar express. Overall, we would absolutely stay here again.
We very much enjoyed our stay in this home. Kitchen was well appointed with everything you need to cook, we used the grill, everything worked great. The pool table, ping pong table and the game area downstairs was fun, we played a few games of pool. Was too cold to enjoy the deck area, but the views from inside were wonderful.
Perfect mountain escape. Gorgeous property that is close enough to everything for convenience but far enough away to get a nice break. Loved the deck and hot tub-amazing views! Would definitely recommend!

Just Perfect!
My family and I were looking for a secluded and peaceful getaway in the mountains, and this was just perfect. This is an incredibly beautiful locations, and the home/space is open and inviting. The owners are phenomenal and went above and beyond for us. Highly recommended!
This was a very peaceful, serene Vacation spot. It was Central located to multiple Quaint cities. Please note—Be prepared for stairs and narrow, steep roads, going to the house.
We loved our stay this Memorial Day weekend! The kitchen was decked out with spices and all the amenities to make a nice steak dinner including the gas grill! The hot tub was clean and perfect to enjoy while listening to the rain come down. 10/10 recommend
Very large, beautifully decorated, very clean. Everything looks new. Has everything we needed for our stay. Short drive to Bryson City which has many good restaurants. Drive up to the house on the first night was a little tricky in the rain and fog, but no problem after that. Would highly recommend.

Strongly recommend
Booked the property to visit Great Smoky Mountain and Blue Ridge Mountains .Property was clean and Easy check in process. The expansive deck is a plus . The owners have a binder with recommendations for restaurants, trails and hikes. Highlight for us was the hike to the Smoky Mountain Plane crash (not an easy hike - but rewarding) , one of the recommended hikes from the owner.
We had a wonderful time exploring GSMNP and the Nantahala River area from this location. The house was in a secluded, peaceful mountain location not too far from downtown Bryson City. It was clean, beautifully decorated, and had nice amenities, such as pool table, fire pit, and hot tub. The only issue was low water pressure, which made washing dishes and showering challenging.

Nice and cozy
Wonderful stay. The house was very nice, clean, and cozy. It’s a little intense of a drive up but our 2WD Tahoe handled it even in the rain. We really enjoyed our stay and it was perfect for our family of 4. Downstairs rec room was very comfortable and our kids spent a lot of time down there watching movies. The Christmas tree was already lit up on our arrival and made for a warm and welcoming visit. Was hard to leave! Thank you for sharing your place!
I have been looking at this home for over a year and finally got to book it. The drive to the property was a little confusing, but we made it to the home. It was a beautiful location and an newly renovated property. It was a huge house with lots to do inside and plenty of room to spread out. I appreciated the decor, it had a relaxing and calming feel about it. No complaints here and a short drive to down town Bryson City.
The house has been refurbished and done beautifully. It includes a ping pong board which we used more often. The driveway is quite steep and require backing down as you leave as a heads up. Overall I love the openess of the home and has a large table for family board games. The kitchen is quite large with plenty of seating and we cooked the whole time we were there. We enjoyed our stay and recommend as a place for family time!

Mountain Vacation
Lovely home with modern, rustic vibe. Some issues with the TV that were resolved with the help of the owners. Very nice people. If you have issues with stairs, probably not the best option but otherwise it was very nice. Lots of little touches. Near the casino where there a number of great restaurants.
Had a relaxing stay. Tricky/steep driveway. No internet. Inconsistent water pressure. But, tranquil quiet porch with peaceful tree views, pool table was fun, open kitchen and large dining table useful, nice hot tub and easy check in and out. Enjoyed our family visit.

Disappointed
Arrived after checkin time, but cleaning crew was still there. Had to wait. Several areas a of the home had bugs. The kitchen lacked cleaning cloths, sponges and towels. Main bedroom, mattress was awful. We ended up sleeping in the room with the twin beds.
The hot tub was nice. However there is no light outside in that area. The basement area was where we stayed the most. Because it was the only place to watch tv or movies.
We did enjoy eating out on the covered deck.

Disappointed
Disappointed. We had been looking forward to this weekend for some time. Here's the issues we had. - 1st - Could not get the DirectTV to work. Could only get what had been downloaded. 2nd - Messaged this site concerning that. No reply. This was a big college football weekend with playoff games. I stated in my messaged that we would need to leave if we couldn't get DirectTV to work. 3rd - No internet to log-in to our TV apps. 3rd - I messaged that we had left on Saturday - still no reply. Overall, the house was clean and there was a Nice Christmas tree up. No TV in the main living are. No on-suite, guess have to share the same bathroom on the main living area or go upstairs.
Beautiful home, very clean and well kept. Same town for shopping & some nice places to eat, although we are in most of the time, porch setting was very serine, birds chirping, squirrels climbing in trees. Beautiful view, some of the trees could have been topped for a better view of the mountains. We celebrate our friends 37th anniversary & his birthday. We also toot the train to Dillsboro& shopped, time was to short for shopping all the shops. Was told train the opposite direction was much better. Differently will come to Great Smokies again. Love the town of Cherokee NC.
