This is an old historic property with lots of character. What a great way to spend time with friends chatting over coffee on the front or back porch. Other than some technical issues with the Vrbo app, the stay was flawless. Attentive owner and a very clean place.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
It is large, and there are three full bathrooms. It was adequate for our needs. The single bed in the king bedroom needs to be replaced but there was a fold out bed in the downstairs sitting room so that worked out well. It is an old home so the floors are uneven and difficult for people with mobility issues.
The house was a lovely place to stay. A historic charm with modern amenities. Lots of space. Lots of lighting. Plenty of parking. Don't let this property's closeness to a major road. No noise from the road heard inside. There is a quiet backyard with plenty of space to relax. I would absolutely recommend. Keep in mind due to the house's age, the bathrooms are small. Other than that, absolutely would recommend!
My friend and I stayed here, for our first visit in Canada, in September. It was our first time using VRBO as well.
The house is older and has a "storied' feel to it, even though it has been updated. All of the bedrooms are upstairs, keep that in mind if you have bad knees or trouble with stairs. The lacation is great as it is right across the street from the gorge, and less than 2.2k (1.4 miles) from Niagara Falls on the parkway. Close enough everything feels convenient but far enough away to enjoy the quiet neighborhood. Parking is relatively easy to get to, from the backside of the property.
Our host was easy to communicate with and had very simples rules to follow, which made it very easy to enjoy or stay. We had no real issues during our stay.
Thank you Dan for the wonderful house. We would gladly stay again.
We spent 3 days there. Check in was easy and finding the house was easy. The house was built in 1913 and is a lovely example of a Craftsman style. The house is a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom two story. None of the bathrooms are attached to bedrooms. The temperature outside was very warm so AC was being used. The air distribution was was very poor. The air all comes out of vents in the bathrooms. We asked if fans for the bedrooms and he promptly brought them. The house is basically clean but desperately needed a thorough deep cleaning. One bedroom had a pair of ladies undies and an empty water bottle under the bed and there was dirty silverware and dishes. Room are overcrowded with furniture. A futon in King bedroom is useless and blocking a vent. There is a lovely sunroom that is crammed with useless furniture rendering it unusable. The front entry is not used and the front yard/porch are unkempt. This renders the gorge view nonexistent. The dishwasher is very loud. Business license that is displayed is expired. Fire extinguisher is out of date.
The kitchen is very well stocked. There is no decaffeinated coffee. This house is very quiet even though it is on a main road. The walk to the attractions is pretty easy. We walked 5-7 miles a day at a slow pace.
Recommend this location while the house’s needs take a spectacular, beautiful home down to an acceptable home. The location is excellent. The gorge view is visible from a window. The management is very responsive.
Historic home on the river was very close to main streets in Niagara Falls Ontario. Walking distance to the falls and all the entertainment. We enjoyed our stay and may rent this property next time we visit.
