This is the 3rd house we've stayed in this neighborhood since it is close to both Nubs Nob and Boyne Highlands. House was clean, had plenty of beds, and 4 bathrooms, which was great. Overall no issues and would book here again.
Beautiful, just beautiful home, high end finish’s with cozy openness. Everything so clean and inviting. Beautiful setting, and great to walk around the development for some exercise. This place is a 10!

Lovely home with a great location
Pros:Beautiful home in a wooded setting.Well stocked kitchen, very clean, spacious, nice size bedrooms and bathsQuestions to management company were answered in a timely mannerCons:Several flights of stairsIncorrect WiFi information on check in instructions Washer and dryer inoperableKeyless entry not working correctlyAbility to park in the garage was advertised however not availableNo window coverings (1st and 2nd level not too much of an issue; however in lower level would be nice)
Loved this stay! Beautiful home! Immediate surroundings are beautifully wooded offering a very nice private feel considering the home is within a golf community. Super clean! Completely stocked kitchen and bath w/some of my favorite home products which was a great surprise! Beds were comfortable, plenty of space for our crew of 5 including 2 teens, 1 pre-teen and 2 adults. Stayed for a short ski trip, 15 min from Nubs. Imagine it is gorgeous in the summer as well! Would definitely stay again! Highly recommend this home!!
Nice set up for families bed room wise. Bedrooms have no window treatments. House was missing some standard amenities (blankets for couch, only had one paper towel roll, dishwasher pods box was empty, no hand towels in the bathrooms, etc.) listing includes pool but fails to mention it is $750 to use the pool no matter how long you are staying. Communication with the property management company was slow. Overall nice home and location, beds were comfortable.
Beautiful location and property. Clean and updated kitchen and bathrooms. The manager was responsive and helpful when the door code didn’t work at check in. The washer was broken and the dryer didn’t work well- it would have been good to be notified prior. The sheets and towels need replacing/upgrading. Also limited supplies in the bathrooms- no body wash or tissues etc. We would recommend this property.
Exactly as described. We also read over the reviews so we weren’t surprised by anything. Parking—listing mentioned garage parking for 2 cars, but the owner’s car took one of the spots. Also, garage door opener was not available.Rooms: fine—window coverings would be nice. We did not have access to the closet in the master bedroom which was disappointing. Kitchen—well stocked with plates, cooking pans, etc and lots of seasonings-perfect for all our needs.Great Room—plenty of comfy seating, lots of natural light and any large screen tv! The Christmas Tree was definitely a wonderful touch! Thanks!Property Manager—easy to communicate with. Quick response to our texts.A nice location for skiing and taking in the Christmas sights of Harbor Springs and Petoskey.

From the Owner: "Thank you for your great feedback. Yes, recently some things have changed as far as usage. We lost our house in Florida due to Hurricane Helene and Milton so we brought our car up to leave and we needed a little extra space in the main bedroom closet. We have updated the listing to reflect these changes. We do have plans to add drapes to the bedrooms for more comfort. I apologize for the garage door opener, I believe it was taken by mistake. There was an extra one in the closet that I know the on-the-ground person had offered to get for you. I know how important a garage door opener is, especially in the winter! We hope you come back and visit!"
The Property was very nice. As we had the usual mix of warm and cool days during our late September visit, we were surprised by the lack of screens on the main level. There were definitely times when we would have preferred to leave windows open for airflow. We had read a previous review describing no privacy blinds on the windows, on both the main floor and upstairs. This included bedrooms and bathrooms. We did have two concerns. The BBQ had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. and the propane tanks on site were empty. We let the property manager know and we were provided with propane the next day. Even after we cleaned the BBQ thoroughly and attempted to burn off the crud, the actual grill remained quite rusted. We had been asked in the instructions to only park 2 of our 3 cars in the driveway. Parking the third had been requested in the garage, but this was not possible because a ping pong table took up the space. We were concerned too many cars in the drive was against neighbourhood regulations. We also let the property manager know the Garage door opener that was referenced in the instructions, was not to be found. It is a lovely home.

From the owner: "Rick, we sincerely apologize for the BBQ condition and we will work on replacing it prior to our next warm season! As far as parking is concerned, if you decide to visit us again, you can park wherever you like. The ping pong table is supposed to be folded and pushed to the side so you can easily access the garage with one or two cars. We will discuss your concerns with our property manager. We have put screens on the sliders since your visit, however, we prefer the no-window treatment look because it is so private and it allows you to be able to see as much of the outside while inside as possible. The property is up very high off the road, and it is very difficult for anyone to see inside the home even in the evening. Thank you for voicing your concerns, and we will do our best to improve our property for your next visit!"
The house is as advertised. Plenty of room for a large group/family. Kitchen is well equipped. Furnishings are new and very comfortable. Pat, the local rep, is awesome! When we arrived just after 4pm, the keypad was not working. Apparently it was not able to be programmed with the code they management company had told us, but Pat gave us a code to use and got us in quickly. This was important as it was single digit temps the day we arrived. Unfortunately, the path and staircase to the front of the house had not been shoveled and had a good 4-6" of snow on them. Once we tromped through that to get into the house, we were able to locate a shovel and cleared the path. Pat was very apologetic about this, but it is out of her control as the owners insist on using the snow service provided by the neighborhood and they hadn't cleared it. Seems if you know there are guests arriving, you would want the snow cleared for them. Especially when it is ankle deep and the only path into the home that is also a flight of stairs...
As many have said, there are no window treatments in any of the rooms. While the location is mostly private, light coming in definitely disturbs sleep. The lower level of the home where the bunk room is was SO COLD. There was a space heater provided, but some window treatments to help hold the heat in would be nice.
The wi-fi was glitchy when trying to stream movies on the tv. We connected the tv to one of our phone hotspots and it worked perfectly.

Nearly PERFECT Home for a Ski Trip!
Spent a long weekend at this lovely home for a group ski trip. The layout of the house was PERFECT for our group of 3 couples and 3 single guys (we got approval for the extra person in the bunk room). While several people complained about the lack of window treatments, I (the organizer) was fine with it as the home is pretty secluded (though a neighbor or two may have gotten a surprise at some point!). We saw lots of deer - they seem to hang out up the hill behind the house. Home was well-equipped with everything we needed and parking in the garage was a huge bonus with the snow. Only issue we had was the furnace not working when we arrived - it was set at 65° but it was a very chilly 48°!!! Local contact sent a repairman and problem was resolved while we were night skiing. WiFi worked like a dream - a necessity in today's world.
Would stay again in a heartbeat, although the 10:00 am checkout on a Sunday morning was a bit of a challenge!!!
This home was a wonderful place to stay with our two young daughters, infant son, and grandma and grandpa. As others mentioned, there are no window coverings. For us, we had no issue because the house is on a very private lot among trees, but if it was a summer stay, the late evening daylight would be a problem with bedtime for little kids. Also, ability to do stairs (normal flights) is definitely a must. Garage and driveway are on basement level, and all bedrooms are on either second floor or lower level (basement).
For families with little kids who are excited about the bunk beds, be aware that the bunk room is on the lower level (walk out basement) and all the other bedrooms are on the second floor.
Kitchen is well-supplied, and everything was very clean. There were fresh board games, puzzles and coloring supplies. Great WiFi and smart TVs were a welcome addition for a cold, rainy weekend.
Easy drive to Harbor Springs, Pond Hill Farm and Little Traverse Wheelway. We would definitely stay here again, although beware… 4-wheel drive would be a necessity on the driveway in the winter.
Everything was perfect! The host Pat was so informative and gracious, I am beyond impressed! She not only left us fresh flowers for our nuptials, she gave me a list of places to have an small wedding. A place that the locals know was more than perfect! I am already hoping to plan a winter trip and or 1 year anniversary trip! Great location, convenient to everything! Also check out pond hill winery! So cool for kids and adults! And the pizza!!!!!
This house was perfect for our friends getaway! Everything that is pictured on the listing is exactly what’s included. The location is very nice and private country club is picturesque. It is a very close and accessible location to Harbor Springs and all of the other things to do in the area. While being close, it’s setting is very private and cozy. Mattresses were very comfortable and the bedding was very nice and clean. A couple things to note for your stay: there are quite a few steps in the house and you have to use the steps to access any of the bedrooms. The windows - while beautiful, large and great for observing nature - do not have any shades on the first floor or any of the bedrooms. Shampoo and conditioner provided for all of the bedrooms but there was not any body wash or soap more washcloths. Overall, we would absolutely stay at this home again – it was great!

Friends Get-A-Way
Stayed at this property Sunday to Thursday. Check in was a bit rocky in that the automated keypad didn't work. We arrived an hour early hoping to get inside but keypad not working. After calling the local rep and hour later, she informed us the key was above the front door light fixture. House is as advertised. Very comfortable for 6 adults, was clean and well stocked with everything you need. If you like to golf, the Birchwood Golf Club there at the property looks excellent. We ended up golfing elsewhere. A couple minor issues; if you want to open windows/doors for some fresh air we did not see any screens. The TV is an internet subscription so your standard TV Chanels or shows are not available. Not a deal breaker obviously as you're probably not watching TV much.Harbor Springs has some nice walkable spots a few miles down the road from this property. Need a car to get there. The clubhouse and amenities at Birchwood are very nice but you can't access them unless you get a special guest pass, we did not but it is available.
