It was a lovely place to spend a weekend. The owners clearly put extra thought into the details of what makes a place feel like home. The owner also communicated promptly to all questions.
This was perfect for the two of us. We had everything we needed. The only downside was the bridge into Mount Rainier is closed indefinitely and the next closest entrance to the park was 1 hour and 20 minutes away.
Peaceful and a great location for access to Carbon River Mount Rainier Park entry. Fantastic hikes await

Ian was a great host and available for questions and help. The setting is beautiful and the studio is so clean and welcoming. Check in was sooo easy. The bed is comfortable, and all the amenities make things extra special. We enjoyed the fire pit and the balcony view. I highly recommend this place.
We chose this rental for its secluded location, which was still close to tons of outdoor activities. The owner was the best we’ve had the opportunity to interact with. From the friendly text before we started our trip, to ensure everything was ready for us, to the meeting us upon check-in to check if we found everything ok. The rental was very clean and well decorated for the use of smaller than normal space.

Comfy and Serene
We had a great stay in this container home. It has a thoughtful layout, so it felt very roomy and comfortable for the three of us. All of the amenities are top-notch. The locale is quiet and peaceful. We didn't see them, but we heard elk nearby and admired the star-filled nights from the deck--that also has a cute fireplace. Ian is friendly, has great tips for the area, and is easy to get in touch with. It's also a perfect point to start an adventure at Mt Rainier. We'll definitely be back!

Container studio is awesome! Well equipped - we bbq'd out one night and enjoyed dinner on the adorable patio/picnic benches. In the morning you can see beautiful Elk. The sheets and towels are really high quality and there was coffee and snacks. The Internet also worked really well (we were able to recharge our devices and also stream movies on the TV.) Host is so nice and welcoming - he also helped us with recommendations and directions.
Lovely redo of a shipping container. We stayed in the upstairs unit. Great place to rest after trying the various sections of Mt Rainier each day.
The host, Ian, was perfect. We had everything needed for our stay and his extras were a nice touch. To save on space, he has an air fryer instead of an oven. I’d never used one before, but after using his, I ordered one to be delivered the day I returned home!
I enjoyed being able to sleep with the windows open for the fresh air and sounds of nature. We saw deer several times, but never the elk that everyone talks about.
It was odd, but I enjoyed the fact that my T-mobile cell phone couldn’t make or receive calls. That definitively made it easier to stay disconnected. However, he had great WiFi set up, so when I needed to check email I could, as well as ordering that air fryer!
If I ever return to the area, I would want to return and stay in one of his units. I was impressed, as was my adult son. I encourage you to stay with Ian at Carbonaro Containers.

This certainly is a unique accommodation! First of course, the style and construction - it is literally two shipping containers stacked on top of each other. But most importantly, I have rarely stayed in a place with so many thoughtful amenities provided, or in a hotel room so clean, modern and nicely crafted. Kudos to the super friendly and helpful host for creating this wonderful experience!
One small detail for guests to note is that there is next to no cell phone reception in the area, so you might want to text the host ahead of time to provide you the wifi password.
Great place, owner was super helpful and friendly. Clean and well stocked. Easy access to Carbon Riv
We were very pleased with everything once we found the place. Address does not take you directly there, need to use coordinates. Would like a smaller light in living/kitchen area. Need directions to use grill.
This was a perfect place to stay to have some peace and quiet! We went on a road trip from CA and this place in Washington was so amazing. We saw elk one night sitting on the back patio. And the host was very nice. I would highly recommend staying here.
I've always wanted to stay in a tiny house. This was that and more. The container was spotless and our family had a really fun time on the deck. Had a fun time exploring the surrounding small towns I would have never explored otherwise.
