Great location close to South Lake Tahoe, major bleachers, and ski resorts. Private drive in a very secluded area, beautiful cabin cozy enough to keep you warm and safe. Sauna gets hot enough even on winter evenings! Perfect for an intimate getaway with plenty privacy.

Thanks so much for the kind words! We're really happy you got to enjoy the quiet setting and cozy vibe, and that the sauna hit the spot on those cold evenings. Sounds like it was the perfect little getaway. We'd love to have you back anytime! :)
It was wonderful. I like that it was away from everything yet close to the main strip. It was nice and quiet. The cabin was clean and kept us nice and warm.

Thanks for staying with us! Hope to host you again soon! 😊
We had a visit from a bear cub who was checking out the hot tub, but didn't cause any problems and was well mannered and left without us having to scare him/her away. The cabin provided all that we needed and the privacy was welcome. This place is a gem!

The dark of night-time forest is soul-refreshing, the running creek can be heard in the quiet. Cute and very neat little place, has every necessary amenity. Delightfully comfortable and restive.

Glad you enjoyed your stay! Hope to host you again in the near future :)
A really nice little spot, just away from the traffic of the city, but still very close to all the attractions of South Lake Tahoe and Emerald Bay. It was really comfortable most of the time, but I could see it being a little uncomfortable inside if the outside temperature is in the 90+ range. There is no A/C or ceiling fans, but they do provide a very powerful floor fan.
Kitchen and bathroom were both very comfortable, and having a nice washing machine is a plus. The hot tub works well and was easy enough to figure out, though there are no instructions. Plenty of other amenities to make your stay comfortable.
If they add some ceiling fans and some blackout shades in the bedroom, this place would be darn near perfect year round. As it is, I would come back any time but the hottest months.

Thanks for staying with us! Can’t wait to host you again in the near future! 😊
The title is 2nd chance because i almost canceled my stay. My wife and i chose this listing because it stated it was in the middle of 7 treed acres and it sounded secluded, which it is. After scheduling our booking we received a document with "house rental rules". In this list of rules, it stated you could not be outside on a deck or patio after 10pm. To be fair, it said you can come and go, you just cant stay outside. When i read this I came unglued! I thought i was reading something from a foreign country! To make this as brief as possible, i had a conversation about this with the manager and he explained the situation and he assured me, my wife and i would be fine to sit on the deck and enjoy the outdoors after 10PM, just do it peacefully! Based on our conversation we went ahead with the booking and really enjoyed our stay and the cabin. I would very much recommend this location for a couple who are looking for the small, quant, rustic in the woods cabin feel!
