The Space:

The Goldie is located in Travis Heights - one of Austin's most desired and unique neighborhoods, adjacent to the vibrant, creative area known as SoCo and downtown Austin. After a day or night of exploring friendly and vibrant Austin, you'll return to a peaceful retreat. Enjoy the best of both worlds!



SWEET DREAMS Both artfully designed bedrooms feature Queen-Size Beds, Eco-friendly Memory Foam Mattresses, and High-Quality Linens. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo, ample storage space, and designer fixtures. Towels and a hairdryer are provided.



CHEF'S KITCHEN The fully equipped kitchen features a gas oven and hood, pull-out pantry, dishwasher, disposal, coffee makers, french press, toaster, and blender. The Galley-style kitchen with a 'waterfall' island opens to the living room - perfect for conversation.



TRAVELLING WITH A PET? Please review house rules > Additional rules prior to booking. Please confirm if you will be traveling with a pet (including certified assistance animals) in your booking message. A pet fee of $25 per pet, per night, will be requested separately upon confirmation of booking.

This has a FULLY fenced yard and perfect for furry buddies.

Getting Around:

The nearest international airport is Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) 8 miles | 13 km away. We recommend getting around by car. There‘s free covered parking for one vehicle and also free street parking. You can also use Uber and Lyft in Austin.



Travis Heights is a wonderful residential neighborhood filled with unique upscale homes, a beautiful park and a natural springs pool that is free for visitors. The neighborhood is next to the South Congress area, Lady Bird Lake and a seven minute drive to downtown Austin.



Other Things to Note:

Guests will need to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.



We provide some bath essentials like soap, shampoo, conditioner, body gel, toilet paper, and some garbage bags. Please note that these are not replenished during your stay.



Pack-n-Play travel crib (with sheets) & high chair are available upon request.



Daily house cleaning is not available however, if you would like a mid-stay cleaning, one can be arranged for a fee. Please let us know in advance.



We kindly ask all guests to abide by these HOUSE RULES:

- Travelers must be at least 25 years old or older to book.

- No smoking of any kind (tobacco, cannabis, vaping etc.) inside the home, and the use of any recreational drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited.

- No parties, events, or illegal activities are permitted, and no excessive noise, especially between 10:00 pm and 7 am, will be tolerated. Please respect the neighbors.

- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.

- Pet-friendly with prior authorization at booking, a signed pet agreement, and a pet fee of $25 per night. Pet fee is requested after booking is confirmed. Two pets max with a combined weight of 60 lbs. Pet fee is requested once booking is already confirmed.

- We kindly ask that pets stay off the furniture to keep things fresh for everyone. An additional cleaning fee may apply if excessive pet hair is found.



Interaction with Guests:

It’s self-check-in using a code. All the access codes will be provided to you before your arrival.

You’ll have complete privacy during your stay, but we’re available 7 days a week. Should you need anything, just send us a message!

We loved the Golden Door! It is perfect for a short or long term stay. Very close to downtown Ausitn and a hop skip and a jump from great shopping on South Congress. We will definitely be staying again!! We loved walking the dog and looking at all the beautiful homes in the neighborhood!

Great little house in Travis Heights

My wife and I just spent a week at this property and had a great time. It was very clean and furnished with everything that we needed. The host even left us with a nice little welcome basket which was an amazing touch. We would highly recommend this property and the host to anyone and we will be coming back to stay in the future.

This was a great place to stay in Austin. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood but also accessible to the Downtown and Soco areas. The house is clean and very modern with a well equipped spacious kitchen. It was very private and quiet with a small yard where you can BBQ. Lovely Retreat in Austin

Property is very clean and neat. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed was provided and we especially appreciated the comfortable bedding and quality sheets and bath towels. There are little signs throughout the property with instructions on how to operate the systems. This owner cares about their property and the comfort of their guests.

A beautiful home in the heart of South Congress! Staying here made my birthday weekend absolutely perfect. We took advantage of the inexpensive grocery delivery, rode bicycles to and from the shops and restaurants, and just plain relaxed. The house and decor are as lovely in person as they are in the pictures...very comfy too! We were able to cook breakfast together in the nicely appointed kitchen. We will definitely be staying here or in one of their other properties again!

Super cute property in a wonderful neighborhood that was full of architecturally diverse beautiful homes. Quick drive to everything. One bed was a bit firm, the other softer. Both were very comfy, as were pillows & bedding. Kitchen supplies were minimal and cheap, but no biggie. This was our first time in Austin. FYI: the food scene is amazing. Prepare & make reservations. And an early visit to Barton Springs is highly recommended.

Optometrist 20 Year Reunion

The vacation home was cool, clean, and fabulous. We were able to reconnect as lifelong friends, but also got to do some professional development and share Optometry practice experiences. It was a heat wave in May, and with a short Uber ride, or a power walk, we maxed out the city life, and returned to a perfect climate oasis of a vacation rental.
